Paddy's Pod: The Always Sunny Podcast

It's only Gabe and Andrew this week. Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but I'm sure this 40 minute discussion of a 20 minute episode is totally worthwhile all the way through. 

We did a good one this time. Bruce Mathis enters the picture. Theories and conspiracies abound as to the parentage of various gang members. Real life Bruce diddled kids and that gets a segment. Good times all around. 

Gabe edited this one and I'm uploading it without having listened to it first. Anyways, we're talking about a top tier classic Sunny ep and really got into it. Rock, Flag and Eagle b*tch!

Good ep about a good ep. We start with a struggle session about our own gang dynamics. Cricket debuts. Mac and Charlie do blessings. Dee is the worst. Dennis is not eating. The good lord is up inside of me! 

Hoo boy folks, this one's a doozy. Host Taylor is absent and the boys are running wild. Get ready for an indulgent yet riveting 45 minute discussion of a 22 minute episode (among other nonsense topics that somehow factor in as well). 

Good ep. 

Crack is smoked. Dreams are dashed. Limos are partied in with hookers. Government programs are exploited. We covered an all time classic and it's good, folks.   

Mazel tov and Allahu Akbar! Lot's to discuss when the Gang goes Jihad. Gang dynamics. Barbara Reynolds. Terrorist videos. We have a nuanced, critical discussion of middle eastern politics (jk no one knows shit about dick). Frank buys the bar. Robot co-host is becoming sentient. Get into it and rate us 5 stars on iTunes while you're at it.

Season 2, baby. Frank comes in hot. The gang is really into strip clubs, apparently. Races. Faking disabilities. Drunk Driving. Discussions about what is canonical with lots of canon sounds. We have a fact checking robot co-host now. Spread the word jabronis. 

It's a good ep. We talk about it and do some segments. 

We've got a "special" one for you this week. Ripped from the vaults, it's one of our first attempts at podcasting - recorded many moons ago with special guest Matt. You see, back then, we hadn't quite mastered techniques like "not talking over eachother" and "having good things to say," but its actually pretty decent. You'll see the humble beginnings of many future fave topics - Mac's sexuality, Dee as straight man, proto-Dennis system and of course fashion. Get into it bitch. 

The gang finds a dead guy. The episode is discussed, especially the parts about nazis. 

Decent ep about a not great ep... or is it? Casual gun use is funny. Dissecting early Sunny. Gugino's, baby. We go a little heavy on the sound effects but also the show clips so it's cool. Gabe's points keep getting "stolen" before he gets to say them, which is also cool. If you don't want to listen to a 25 minute podcast about a mediocre 21 minute Sunny episode you can show yourself to the door. 

Uhhhh.

The gang gets access to a professional studio environment.  We went back to season one. It's a good ep. 

Finale discussion. Voltaire once said to judge a man not by his answers, but his questions and boy do we have a few of those. Is Glenn Howerton leaving the show? What will happen to the gang? Did he D.E.N.N.I.S. us? Is he really doing this to us? Am I crying? What happened with the waitress? Does fat gay mac rule? Is Andrew still a guest? Is it silly to have a 50 minute podcast about a 21 minute show? What is this? Where am I?  

After a brief hiatus, we back! It's a Cricket ep. Gabe apologizes for being so drunk last time. We deep dive into Cricket's history (with clips) before discussing the ep. Special guest Andrew returns. New pod every Thursday for the foreseeable future.
