God commands us not to worship idols. They are, however, not limited to carved images made of stone or wood. In this day and age, there are many kinds of idols that we are prone to worship.

We may think that the Ten Commandments commandments are irrelevant, but we need to understand that God set them in place because of His great love for us. As we learn more about the these commandments, we need to understand that the very first commandment has to do with who God is and His rightful place in our lives.
