Play Cousin's celebrates it's 10th episode in epic fashion. This week we sat back down with media personality and content curator, Scottie Beam for a more in depth interview. We were also blessed to have her mother and iconic radio personality, Shaila Scott. The mother/daughter shared so much and provided gems about career goals, dreams and their relationship. Happy Birthday Scottie!

This week, the Play Cousins podcast was invited to join the hosts of 'No Strings Attached' for a joint session to talk about the senseless killings of black lives at the hands of the police, media portrayal, and solutions to this country's problem. Special guests include King Louie, Rahsaan, and Tyson, who make sure to help us get our voices heard on this tragic epidemic.

For our 8th official episode, we brought up two very special guests to share their incredible stories on the road to success. First up we have Jen From BK, who is not only the social media manager of Hot 97, but also the curator and host of their 'Ladies First' show that's all about the empowerment of women. After sharing with us some of her struggles of climbing up in the music industry, Wize hops on the microphone to tell us about the Indie Creative Network, and how he's giving back to his community. The episode takes a deeper turn this week, as we discuss mental health, and dealing with intense anxiety, depression, and our low points. This week on the Play Cousins podcast, we invited some very special guests up to record with us, as we talked about all kinds of intense topics. Scottie Beam joined us to discuss how she's utilized social media to catapult her #ScottieFeedback to the next level, as well as her plans to push music culture forward. Suzanne Biello, who does PR and management for some of your favorites on the rise, also talked about how hip hop inspired her to lead a successful career. Finally, we had Block, who talked to us about his hip-pop sound, and the next moves he's making for his career.

This week, we brought back Tatyana Jenene for a special "release" episode, as we had some things we just needed to get off of our chests. We discuss some of our favorite hip hop topics, what went down at the R&B Only party, Aaliyah's legacy 15 years after her tragic death, and much more.

This week, we invited up some very special guests, and close friends of ours, Gia Peppers and Tatyana Jenene, for our female voices in hip hop episode. Most of you may recognize Gia from her extensive journalism work in the industry from being an on-air coordinator for BET, Essence, and the Washington Wizards, as well as the co-editor of BlameEbro.com. The ever-so-clever Tatyana joined us to talk about her unique interview approach as a junior editor of BlameBro.com, contributing for TheRapFest over the last year, and hosting her own music podcast, House of Music.

The show WAS PACKED this week, featuring some amazing industry creatives. ThatsEnuff.com Content Manager, Unique Chapman, SOB's Photographer, DLo and many more were in attendance. As "You Can't Lie" got raunchy (as usual,)the group got more serious later on, talking about industry woes and personal aspirations!

This week, we invited producer Mike Medium to discuss his rise to the top of the hip hop DJ game, as well as Dani Howe of The STASHED to talk about how she got into writing for one of the fastest rising outlets in the industry. Later in the show, we get a little raunchy before we dive into our main topic: disappointments in hip hop.

Robin J and Mouse Jones are back in the studio with us for part 2 of the Play Cousins podcast's second episode. This week, we dive into a slew of different topics from Twitter's dating logic, different "types" of women, why Mouse condones fat-shaming, and much more.
