Acts 17:22-34; 1 Corinthians 9:19-27 — Without compromise, the Church is called to contextualize the gospoel to our culture because that's what Jesus has done for us.

1 Timothy 3:16-4:5; 1 Corinthians 13 — Our mission is to preach the truth to a world that hates it in the sacrificial beauty of love, because that's what Jesus did for us.

Matthew 28:18-20 — Our mission is to go out with all of the authority and power of Christ to bring dead people to life and then teach them to do the same.

Colossians 3:1-17 — From the starting point of salvation God renews us into the divine likeness through worship, Christian education, and community.

Hebrews 12:18-29 — Worship helps us to remember who God is, what God has done for us, and shapes us into who we really are.

John 6:35-59 — Because Jesus is, has been, and will continue to be our portion in this life and in the life to come, we look forward with great expectation as he sustains us to eternity.

Isaiah 27:2-13 — Between the two advents, God is grafting us into Christ, he is growing us through suffering, and he is gleaning for eternal life.
