This evening's show reprises two previously aired interviews. We look back at the legal age 21 debate with Choose Responsibility; and just for fun, replay the Abyss Creations Real Doll conversation. Also, two new segments were introduced: Your Excuse is What? and Scotty-K's Short Song of the Week.

This evening's show brings you an interview offering a sneak peek into the Singularity Summit taking place this weekend in San Francisco by Eliezer Yudkowsky of The Singularity Institute. The usual hijinks ensue before the News segment delves into recent setbacks for the Warrantless Wiretapping program and the lowered expectations for the surge in Iraq.

Mike Dooley, one of last week's winners of the Award of Excellence joins Timothy this evening to talk LEGOs and about his book, Forbidden LEGO. The News segment offers some small business advice and a peek at this week's happenings in the Black Rock desert.

Matt Hahn and Fleet Hamilton from the Dog Lover's Wine Club join the Timothy Jordan Show crew to discuss how they brought wine lovers and dog lovers together to help canines in need. After few weeks on the back burner Iraq is once again a focus for the News segment, with the administration's defective sense of irony front and center.

Timothy is absent from the studio once again, but set us up with an engaging recorded interview with The Santa Cruz Roller Girls. The News is truncated in time, but not in quality. As always the full text is available online.

Timothy joins us from the Timothy Jordan Show Mobile Satellite truck (as he travels back to the studio) to interview Gerard Talampas of the Filipino American Arts Exposition. The News returns in full-featured format this week, where we cover everything from California voting issues to rising opium production in Afghanistan.

With Scott out of the studio, Timothy and Alec are left to fight off the summer doldrums by interviewing the Lonely Island crew. On the promotional trail for their new movie, Hot Rod, Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone took some time out of their busy schedule to talk modern comedy and Saturday Night Live with Timothy and Alec. The Timothy Jordan Show News returns this week with some fun summer activities and a torrent of political shenanigans in and out of Washington D.C.

With Timothy, Scott, and Alec out of the studio, all we had time for was some news. So here's the weeks news. Expect the whole crew back in the studio next week.

We return again this Friday, speaking with our absent announcer, Scotty K about a local performance of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Timothy interviews Pegi Young about her recently released album and her long-running charity work for the Bridge School. The News kicks off with a review of two summer blockbusters, delves into a recent GAO investigation report, yesterday's Presidential Press Conference, and as always, excellence.

The team interviews Mothers Against Drunk Driving about the legal age 21 debate and re-plays the Choose Responsibility interview from a few weeks ago.

The Timothy Jordan Team interviews Bruce Merkin of Marijuana Policy Project. The News segment features iPhone hysteria, Supreme Court decisions past and present, and the Senate Judiciary Committee playing 20 Questions with the White House.

The Timothy Jordan Show Staff gets going this week in a freewheeling discussion with our listeners about the use of strong language in public spaces. We also have a Freedom Update from Derek Slater of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. The News offers a look into government oversight, featuring the ongoing White House email mini-tempest and shenanigans by the Office of the Vice President.

We had the opportunity to interview Dr. John McCardell, Director of Choose Responsibility. This controversial new organization was formed in order to promote a repeal of current drinking age laws. Today's News segment features a preview of the Dating Guide for the Semi-Feral, an update on News from Iraq, and a special Award of Excellence.

On today's show Timothy and the radio crew step out into UCSC's Porter Meadow to interview participants in the now-legendary 4/20 circle. Unnamed stoners were offered an insanely hot salsa as a test of their compromised judgement. The News Staff returns to the studio with a brand-new technological innovation which will help our listeners discern the hard news content from our Senior Political Correspondent's often loaded commentary.

Timothy plays an interview he recorded at MacWorld 2007 with Garo Green of Lynda.com, an online training company that’s changing the nature of technical education. Our News team gets out ahead of the mainstream media and sets another first by calling the 2008 Presidental Election nearly two years before the polls close. Also covered is the Libby perjury trial, and quite possibly the keenest political metaphor ever broadcast.

The Vaginas and Chocolate Valentines Day Show explored two topics very close to all our hearts: Chocolate and Vaginas. Timothy hit the ground running by interviewing Mary Schenone from Chocoholics Divine Deserts. These makers of intimate chocolates sent us some swag that we put in the hands of our volunteer couple to play with in our adjoining private love studio. While they were getting naked and rowdy, a director and some actors from UCSC's Vagina Monolgues join us to talk about their craft and show. In the News this week, coverage and background information on the Lewis "Scooter" Libby perjury trial, and more than listeners want to know about the 2008 Pentagon budget request.

The Crazy Go Nuts Music University Show kicks off with an interview featuring students and educators from the Berklee School of Music in a segment recorded at Macworld 2007. Today's News program covers an in-depth review of the Special Inspector for Iraqi Reconstruction's January 2007 quarterly report, and our Senior News Correspondent promises to defend himself against any repeats of last week's assault on his posterior.

Today we bring to our listeners The Grateful Dead Walk Among Us Show, looking back to Macworld 2007 where Timothy interviewed Bob Wier and the dedicated Staff of the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus about the Bus and how it brings music to students around the country. The Timothy Jordan Show News returns this week with the State of the News Program, and our Senior News Correspondent gets a very unexpected birthday surprise.

Seeing as how we've just done a public service show, perhaps it's time to re-visit our mischievous roots. Timothy invited Ben Morgan to join the show in conversation about his new movie, Quality of Life. The movie, about young graffiti artists in San Francisco's Mission district, has been gathering critical aclaim as well as raising questions about the criminality of unsolicited public art. Topr, a rap artist featured in the movie and Sean, a local graffiti artist also joined the show. The Timothy Jordan Show News saw the return of Alec in-studio with talk of Chinese hunger for space debris and a very special award for a very special monkey.

We're starting 2007 off right by following our Naked/Transparent Show with the Public Service Show. The Timothy Jordan Show is good people. The show was started with a sketch of what our home station's listeners can expect from the new Winter schedule. Timothy's favorite was, of course, "The Knock-Kock Show." Next up, Timothy brought in Mardi Wormhoudt to talk about her dedicated years of service to Santa Cruz and its county from Mayor to Supervisor. He also spoke with Julie Barrett Heffington from The Seymour Marine Discovery Center about their upcoming docent training program. And finnaly, this week saw the return of the Electronic Freedom Update with Derek Slayter of the EFF. The Timothy Jordan Show News was presented by Alec via a long-distance communication link. Alec gave the show and the air-travelers in his immediate vicinity an update on troop deployment and equipment issues in Iraq and presented an interesting study about how to improve one's public speaking ability.
