Media Nite Radio welcomes to the airwaves Jimi Jamison, lead singer for the band, Survivor.  But before Survivor, Jamison began his musical career with the nationally acclaimed band Target. He continued on his rise to stardom with the band Cobra.  After Cobra, he joined Survivor where the band has enjoyed success with 5 singles in the Top Ten, four gold, and double platinum albums and multiple movie soundtracks.  The movie soundtrack for Rocky starring Sylvester Stallone included the mega hit "Eye of the Tiger" which still thrills concert audiences to the present. The Baywatch Theme, I'm Always Here" was also co-wrote by Jamison as well as performed. Jamison has also released several solo albums. Media Nite Radio welcomes to the airwaves veteran character actress Dale Raoul.  HBO audiences know her from her portrayal of Maxine Fortenberry on the HBO hit drama, True Blood.  But before True Blood came calling, Dale worked in a myriad of stage, film, and televison productions such as films, The Mexican with Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt, The Lawnmower Man with 007 Pierce Brosnan, primetime television, ABC'sThe Middle, HBO'sSix Feet Under, NYPD Blue, etc.   Dale started her career in acting at the age of 6 when she played the role of the mother in the first grade play.  Frome that moment on, Dale was in love with acting and the courage to actually pursue her passion. Media Nite Radio welcomes back to the airwaves Daytime and Singing Legend Gloria Loring.  Daytime audiences know Gloria from her portrayal of Liz and her show stopping hits that she sang in Blondie's on the hit daytime drama, Days of Our Lives.   While Gloria was on Days of Our Lives, she performed Friends and Lovers which became the most requested song in daytime history on NBC. Gloria then paired with Carl Anderson, to record Friends and Lovers as a duet. After finding a small record label to produce and release the single to radio and record stores, Friends and Lovers went #1 to become the first song launched from a television network. Raising a son with juvenile diabetes inspired Gloria to write four books about people living with diabetes. This life experience prompted Gloria to become a spokesperson for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Gloria was honored by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation with the Lifetime Commitment Award and the Founders Award from the National Disease Research

Media Nite Radio welcomes to the airwaves Emily Wilson, the adorable Ellie on the Emmy award winning daytime drama, General Hospital.  HBO audiences also know Emily from her portrayal of Shannon Bryer on Aaron Sorkin's new show NEWSROOM.  But before Emily hit daytime and HBO, she was a series regular on the MTV show Disaster Date for 3 seasons, and has appeared as a guest star on such dramas as BONES, Disney's PAIR OF KINGS, ENTOURAGE, CSI:NY, and the hit comedy HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. She has been in feature films such as MEET THE SPARTANS, and SECRET LIVES OF DORKS which is set to be released early next year. Media Nite Radio welcomes to the airwaves CEO John de Vries of Crust Pizza Bar.  John started his career in the food and beverage indusry as a franchisee with the Subway chain.  After his experience with being a franchise owner, John became involved in the franchising side of the Subway business. While John was in Sydney Australia,  where he partnered with a group of individuals which owned and operated many fine dining restaurants, he became interested in racing.  John bacame a driver in the Indy Racing League and Australian Formula Holden.  He raced in the 2002 IRL season and competed in the first 3 races and arrived but withdrew from the Nazareth Speedway race. He attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 but was not one of the 33 drivers who made the field.  He returned to compete in the Chevy 500 at Texas Motor Speedway and logged his best career IRL finish, 11th place which turned out to be his last IRL race. Media Nite Radio welcomes to the air Nathin Butler and The Sugar.  Daytime fans know Nathin from his portrayal of Dr. Ewen Keenan, on the Emmy winning daytime drama, General Hospital.  But Nathin is also an accomplished singer, songwriter and lead singer for the band, The Sugar. But before Nathin hit daytime TV, he started his acting and singing aspirations in his hometown of Queensland, Australia.  He was accepted into the prestigious Sydney-based National Institute of Dramatic Art.  At age 23, Nathin moved to Los Angeles to  pursue a career in entertainment and landed such roles in, X-men: Origins, Australia and HBO's The Pacific.  Nathin's band, The Sugar have played such venues as the famous Viper Room.

She is responsible for writing a catalogue of music for ABC/Disney (over a 100 titles) for such daytime dramas as "General Hospital", "One Life To Live", and "All My Children" as well as the spin-offf "Night Shift". These dramas featured the very popular, "Just You and Me", "Where You Are", "Silent Ambush","Glow" and "Alarmed". She was also the composer and singer for the single "No Way Out" which was featured in its entirety on the popular night time drama, Vampire Diaries. Among Dara's accolades as a make-up artist are nominations for Daytime Emmys in 2007 and 2012.  Dara has worked in all aspects of the entertainment field.  Dara was part of the now defunct daytime drama, Port Charles and the spin-off of GH, Night Shift.  Dara has also been a make-up artist for the Academy Awards for the last 8 years.

Soap fans know Diana from her portrayal of “Angelina Veneziano” on the Emmy Award winning daytime drama, The Young and The Restless. But before daytime was in Diana’s future, Diana rose to fame in 2004 as the runner up on American Idol.  Diana was then offered a music contract by RCA Records/19 Records and released her first single “Dreams” debuted at number two in record sales and went number one on the Billboard US Singles Sales Chart. Diana made her Broadway debut in Hairspray and performed the lead role in the national tour for Brooklyn:  The Musical along side one her idols, Melba Moore.  Diana has also performed at Carnegie Hall in a tribute to Entertainment great Neil Sedaka. Media Nite Radio welcomes to the airwaves primetime actress Barbara Alyn Woods.  Fans know Barbara best from her portrayal of one of the original characters "Deb Scott" on the hit primetime drama, One Tree Hill.  Lucky for us, Barbara will be bringing back the character of Deb to our screens in One Tree Hill's ninth and final season. But before One Tree Hill came calling, Barbara had graced the silver screen as well as our TV screens.  It all started with Barbara's starring role of 'Diane Szalinski ' on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show.  This led to guest starring roles in such dramas as Ally McBeal, Picket Fences, Married With Children and Desperate Housewives.  In 2010, on a brief break from One Tree Hill, Barbaraportrayed  recurring character 'Barbara Jansen', on the popular primetime drama, The Gates.

Soap fans may know Kelly from her portrayal of Kate Howard and Jen from her portrayal of Maxie Jones since she took over the role from Kirsten Storms last year. But these ladies have such a special friendship off the set that is truly endearing to watch. We will be discussing what it is like being back after all these years and working with the original cast as well as his film and primetime career. Patrick is also musically inclined and has been playing with the band called “The Sleeping Masses”.  We will also find out what projects Patrick is working on.

Media Nite Radio welcomes back to the airwaves Jim Romanovich (Executive Producer for the Daytime Emmy's as well as the upcoming Hollywood Christmas Parade).  Jim aslo produces several television shows on such networks as Chiller, SyFy and Hallmark Channel.  He also has been very vocal about the state of daytime and the problems facing it.  Tonight we will discuss the future of daytime and the emergence on the internet of this beloved genre.  What does this mean for soap fans and what will it look like if it is moved to the internet?   Tonight, Jim and I will take this subject on.
