Episode 730: No Immunity for Trump; Who will be VP for GOP?; Document Case Update
09/02/2024 Duração: 37minThis week on Ring of Fire! The DC Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in a unanimous decision on Tuesday that Donald Trump does NOT have immunity from prosecution, and therefore the election subversion case against him can, and will, go to trial. But that doesn't mean that the immunity fight is over. Trump still has the option to appeal the ruling to the Supreme Court, which has already been put into motion. But the Appeals Court's ruling might be written in a way that already bypasses the Supreme Court. During an interview with Fox News this week, Kellyanne Conway was asked about Donald Trump's potential vice presidential picks, and she may have let it slip who Trump is leaning towards. After rattling off a few names, Conway then focused in on Republican Senator Tim Scott, praising him for dropping out and actively campaigning for Trump before adding that he "checks all of the boxes." That's not really the case, but if Trump thinks so then he's likely made his pick already. Jack Smith spent 15 pages of

Episode 729:(M) Boebert is Looking at Fifth Place After Switching Districts; Immigration Idiocracy for Trump; OAN and Powell Have Shady Exchange
31/01/2024 Duração: 32minThis week on Ring of Fire! Lauren Boebert has a little over one month before the primary in Colorado for her new district, and things are off to a horrible start for her. A new straw poll taken after the first primary debate last week puts her squarely in fifth place, meaning she's actually doing worse in her new district than she was in her old district. The window of opportunity is closing on Boebert, but it should have closed years ago. Republicans are up in arms - almost quite literally - over illegal immigration, but they are still refusing to work out a border deal with Democrats in Congress. The biggest reason why a deal isn't happening is because Donald Trump is telling Republicans to shoot down any deal because it will help President Biden politically. If they solve the problem then they'll have nothing to campaign on, and that's a bigger threat than anything. The conservative outlet One America News may have given Trump lawyer Sidney Powell a spreadsheet that contained the login data for Smartmatic'

Episode 728: Trump's VP Pick Revealed? DeSantis Ends Run; Trump Rants After New Hampshire Victory
25/01/2024 Duração: 32minThis week on Ring of Fire! The hunt for Donald Trump's running mate is on, and a former aide to the ex-president believes that Trump has already made up his mind. On a recent episode of The View, Alyssa Farah Griffin said that she believes he'll pick Arkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders as his running mate, even as speculation swirls around Elise Stefanik. Huckabee Sanders has proven herself to be a loyal Trump stooge, but she doesn't bring much else to the table. Ron DeSantis announced on Sunday that he was dropping out of the presidential race, and both the Left and the Right are thrilled about this announcement. Both sides came together in a rare moment of harmony to mock DeSantis for running one of the worst campaigns that we've seen in modern American politics. His fall from grace was truly a sight to behold. Even if Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis engaged in an improper relationship with a fellow prosecutor, most legal experts agree that it will have no actual impact on the criminal char

Episode 727: Iowa Results Leave Haley Delusional; DeSantis Fires Back at Right Wing Media
18/01/2024 Duração: 33minThis week on Ring of Fire! Ron DeSantis is no longer the darling of conservative media outlets, and he can't stand it. While speaking with reporters at an event last Friday, DeSantis whined about the fact that Fox News appears to be protecting Trump, and they are running cover for all of the horrible things that he does. Of course, DeSantis isn't actually wrong about his assessment of Fox and the rest of conservative media, but it is only bothering him because he wants that level of adoration again. Judge Aileen Cannon is still doing everything possible to protect Donald Trump, and late last week she ruled that Jack Smith can NOT get his hands on Trump's communications because it is way too early to make him declare what his legal defense is going to be. The trial is just months away according to the official timeline, but Cannon's ruling is a good indication that she is going to further delay the trial, possibly until after the 2024 election. It is one thing to put on a brave face after suffering a humiliati

Episode 726: Direct Ties to Trump for Fake Elector Scheme? Epstein List is Out; Boebert Tries to Win over New Constituents
11/01/2024 Duração: 32minThis week on Ring of Fire! The chances of Donald Trump being charged for the fake elector scheme in the state of Michigan are increasing, as investigators in the state have now directly tied Trump's campaign to the fake elector plot. In addition to the new links, Michigan prosecutors also have multiple Trump allies cooperating with their investigation, including three of Trump's former legal advisers: Kenneth Chesebro, Boris Epshteyn, and John Eastman. New Epstein documents were unsealed this week, and they contain some pretty shocking allegations about Donald Trump's activities with the victims of Epstein. According to one of the victims, another one of the victims had told her that she was involved in a sexual relationship with Trump, going as far as to describe some of the lewd compliments that he would give her during their encounters. These new revelations came after Alan Dershowitz asked for the documents to be unsealed so he could discredit the victim. A new audio tape has emerged that appears to show

04/01/2024 Duração: 41minThis week on Ring of Fire! To kick off the New Year, we're doing a Q&A with our YouTube Community members. What political horrors lie in store for us in the New Year? How will Trump's idiot sons get by once daddy is no longer with us? Why is Tommy Tuberville still in the Senate when he doesn't even live in Alabama? How will the Secret Service adjust to protecting Trump in prison? All those questions, and many more, will be answered on this week's Ring of Fire!

Episode 724: Desantis Campaign on Life Support; Trump Spreading Conspiracies; Vivek Cancels TV Ad Buys
28/12/2023 Duração: 36minThis week on Ring of Fire! Donald Trump seems to have woken up panicked about being prosecuted on Wednesday morning, so he got on Truth Social and posted a string of conspiracy theories before demanding that he receive legal immunity from prosecution. The Supreme Court is eventually going to take up the issue, but not before the appellate court gives their decision in the coming weeks. Vivek Ramaswamy's presidential campaign has cancelled their TV ad buys and they don't have any ads planned for the coming weeks as the Republican primary voting begins. The campaign swears that this was always the plan so that they can remain "nimble," but the truth is that the campaign is going down in flames and the money just isn't rolling in anymore. Voters have already settled on their candidates, and Ramaswamy's charm wore off quicker than he expected. The Republican Party is ending the year 2023 in one of the worst financial situations that they have seen in modern times. The Party has about $7 million cash on

Episode 723: It's the Economy Stupid; Trump's Lawyer Seriously Confused; Huckabee Sanders Kicks Kids off of Medicaid
21/12/2023 Duração: 33minThis week on Ring of Fire! The Biden Campaign is going on the offensive on the economy, but they are doing it in a way that directly calls out Donald Trump. After a stronger-than-expected November jobs report, the Biden campaign touted the numbers and said that they are "cleaning up" the economic mess that they inherited from Trump. This is a strong, and accurate, message that the campaign needs to be hitting on as frequently as possible. During a recent appearance on Fox, Trump lawyer Alina Habba whined to host Larry Kudlow that she is "not free" because she is being "shackled" by the court's gag order. Both Habba and Kudlow complained about how this is a violation of her First Amendment rights, something that Habba, as a lawyer, knows is not true. Not to mention the fact that the order only says she can't attack court staffers, which has nothing to do with her ability to defend her client. Donald Trump traveled to Nevada a few days ago to hold a rally, and things took an immedi

Episode 722: Trump Unhinged!; VP Rumors; Giuliani Trial Off to Bad Start
14/12/2023 Duração: 44minThis week on Ring of Fire! Donald Trump apparently woke up more unhinged than usual on Saturday morning, and he immediately got on Truth Social to let the world know that he is not doing well at all. But it was a post that he didn't write that made everyone scratch their heads. Trump re-posted a message from a conservative lawyer that suggested that President Obama should be indicted for murder (because a court recently ruled against Trump saying that presidents don't have immunity for life.) We can probably expect this to be the new rallying cry for conservatives. Donald Trump's niece, Mary Trump, has accused Marjorie Taylor Greene of trying to bribe Donald Trump into making her his VP choice next year. Specifically, Mary says that a recent social media post by Greene was an attempt to show Donald that she will do whatever he wants her to do if she is chosen for the vice presidential slot on the ticket, and she did so by promising to protect, and likely pardon, the convicted Capitol Rioters. Donald Trump's m

Episode 721: Trump Has Reasons for Supporting Capitol Rioters; MTG Called Out Over PPP Loan; Trump's L's in Court
08/12/2023 Duração: 32minThis week on Ring of Fire! Donald Trump is back to pretending that he cares about the Capitol Rioters, and he shared a post from another user on his Truth Social platform that called for the arrests of police officers that violently engaged with his supporters during the riot. The post contained a video clip of officers using batons to strike the people storming the Capitol and made mention of Ashli Babbit being killed by a police officer. There's a very specific reason why Trump is going down this path right at this moment, and we'll explain why that is. During a House hearing late last week, Marjorie Taylor Greene got called out by Democratic Representative Maxine Waters for taking out a PPP Loan and having it forgiven by the federal government. Waters was using that as an example of the hypocrisy of Republicans who talk nonstop about cutting programs for the poor while taking money for themselves. Greene was livid, and she took to Twitter to blast Waters using the dumbest possible arguments you could have

Episode 720: Gag Order Repealed; Update on Biden's Impeachment; George Santos Drama
01/12/2023 Duração: 35minThis week on Ring of Fire! According to a court filing last week, Judge Arthur Engoron and his court clerk have received hundreds of threats, and most of them have been deemed "credible" by the threat assessment officials at the court. This information was revealed in a filing that was attempting to state the importance of the gag order against Donald Trump that an appeals court temporarily lifted earlier this month. Trump knows exactly what he is doing, and legal experts say that there's no doubt this is being done on purpose. Republican Congressman James Comer, the Chair of the House Oversight Committee, told Fox News last week that he plans to hold a vote on President Biden's impeachment in early spring, and that he wants to hold the vote sooner rather than later. This means that Republicans are wanting to have Biden impeached by April, which would prevent Democrats from launching a new primary candidate to take over. This is all very calculated for the Republicans, the problem is that they have

Episode 718: Did Trump Break the Law for Donating Gun? Classified Document Scandal Dissected
16/11/2023 Duração: 33minThis week on Ring of Fire! Donald Trump is once again embroiled in a firearm-related scandal. The former president recently auctioning off a customized firearm with "Trump" branding all over it, and the auction at Mar-a-Lago claimed that the weapon belonged to Trump. If this is true, then Trump violated federal law by engaging in a transaction involving a firearm while under federal indictment. In a ruling late Friday afternoon, Judge Aileen Cannon said that she is not going to delay Donald Trump's classified documents trial...YET. Instead, she set a deadline for March for herself to make the decision on whether or not delay the trial until after the election, effectively taking up the entire timeline so that other trials can't schedule things to happen during that time. This was a decision that completely defies all logic, and it serves no purpose other than to cause chaos. During a meltdown on Truth Social, Donald Trump openly admitted that his employees at Mar-a-Lago would regularly see boxes of

Episode 717: Trump's Lawyer Habba a Complete Embarrassment; Farron Goes Off on Local Story
09/11/2023 Duração: 54minThis week on Ring of Fire! Donald Trump finally took the stand in his fraud trial on Monday, and it couldn't have gone worse for the former President. Trump ended up admitting that some of the values on his financial statements were, in fact, inflated, which could end up dooming the entire company. We'll bring you the details. Trump's lawyer Alina Habba continued to make a complete fool of herself in court this week, proving that Trump isn't bringing in the sharpest legal minds to save him from what's coming. Lauren Boebert is losing allies and donors at a staggering rate following her antics at the Beetlejuice show, and she's now in serious danger of losing her seat because of it. And the Chief Financial Officer of Florida has pitched an idea to use state funds to bail Trump out of his legal problems in the state. All of that, and much more, on this week's Ring of Fire!

Episode 716: News Dump Mostly Trump
02/11/2023 Duração: 32minThis week on Ring of Fire! Former Vice President Mike Pence announced over the weekend that he was ending his presidential campaign (actually, "suspending" it) after it became crystal clear that he has no path to the nomination. This frees up a small percentage of Republican votes that will now go to other candidates, and it could be enough of a bounce to give another candidate some much-needed momentum as the Iowa caucuses rapidly approach. Judge Tanya Chutkan set another trap for Donald Trump this week, leaving the decision up to him as to whether or not his trial is televised. Trump now has to issue a statement to the judge telling her why or why not the trial should be viewed by the public - and there's no good answer for the former President. Donald Trump went ballistic on Judge Arthur Engoron following his Friday ruling that Ivanka Trump had to testify in the ongoing New York fraud trial. Trump attacked the judge on social media, claiming that he is a "nut job" for forcing his daught

Episode 712: Overinflated Trump Gets Caught; Biden Losing to Trump in New Poll?
28/09/2023 Duração: 44minThis week on Ring of Fire! The judge overseeing the fraud trial in New York ruled this week that Donald Trump, his two adult sons, and the Trump Organization were guilty of fraud after years of lying to banks and insurance companies about how much money they actually had. We'll bring you the details. A new poll has some troubling data for President Biden, as it shows that he is LOSING to Donald Trump by 10 points. Can this poll be trusted, or is this an egregious error by the media? Hunter Biden is suing Rudy Giuliani for illegally accessing and distributing the data from the infamous laptop, and this lawsuit could help us figure out how all of these Republicans got their hands on the information - something the media has completely ignored. And we're just days away from a government shutdown, and it seems like Republicans are actually wanting this to happen. All that, and much more, on this week's Ring of Fire!

Episode 711: Senate Dress Code Causes Stir; Boebert's Hypocrasy Caught on Tape; Impeaching Biden?
21/09/2023 Duração: 38minThis week on Ring of Fire! Republicans are having an absolute meltdown over the new, more relaxed dress code in the Senate, and Democratic Senator John Fetterman is having the time of his life trolling these prudes on social media. Lauren Boebert is still dealing with the fallout after she was caught "reaching across the aisle" at a recent theater performance. Could this act be the final nail in her political coffin? Republicans are pushing for cuts to Social Security, Medicaid, and SNAP benefits as they push the federal government towards a shutdown. The first impeachment inquiry hearing is set to take place next week, just as new evidence emerges showing that Republicans have absolutely no reason to be going down this path. And Donald Trump's legal problems in the documents case might have become too much for him to overcome thanks to new witness testimony.

14/09/2023 Duração: 45minThis week on Ring of Fire! Impeachment fever has infected the Republicans in the House of Representatives, and Speaker Kevin McCarthy officially announced the opening of an impeachment inquiry into President Biden this week. But who is really pulling the strings here? We'll answer that question for you. Marjorie Taylor Greene is once again suggesting that states should secede from the Union, and she could find herself facing a 14th Amendment challenge for her rhetoric. Donald Trump's economic plans for a second term will decimate the working class while he gives himself and the rest of the wealthy elite another major tax break - we'll bring the details. And Trump's legal problems don't seem to be getting any better as he and his lawyers keep angering the judges and prosecutors. All that - and much, much more - coming up on this week's Ring of Fire!
