George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all - and it's Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence - who then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn't been for all his good deeds over the years.

John McClane is a fictional character and main protagonist of the Die Hard film series, based on Roderick Thorp's action novel Nothing Lasts Forever. McClane was portrayed in all five films by actor Bruce Willis, and is known for his sardonic one-liners.

Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones, Jr. is the title character and protagonist of the Indiana Jones franchise. George Lucas created the character in homage to the action heroes of 1930s film serials.

Among Gen X respondents, “National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation” comes out on top, with 17% saying they like the Chevy Chase film the best. “A Christmas Story” (13%) and “Elf” (12%) also fare well with this group.
