While we can't eliminate the lingering effects of slavery and Jim Crow. Many whites are comfortable investing. While most blacks are not. Are we holding our race back from  economic black empowerment? Rather than teaching our children to be borrowers, spenders and consumers, we must teach them to become investors, savers, and producers.
