Tampa Bay Buccaneers Suffer Trick Instead Of Treat In Loss To New Orleans Saints
01/11/2021 Duração: 28minThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue their struggles against the New Orleans Saints during the regular season, dropping yet another one inside the Superdome 36-27. Tom Brady, despite throwing for over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns, turned the ball over three times with the final one being the nail in the coffin as P.J. Williams returned it for a touchdown.Chris Godwin finished with a season high 140 yards on eight catches, adding in a touchdown that gave the Bucs the early 7-0 lead, but it was third string quarterback Trevor Siemian that led the charge for New Orleans once Jameis Winston left the game with a knee injury. Siemian got the Saints out to a 23-7 lead early in the second half before Brady and the Buccaneers offense stormed back to take a 27-26 lead.In the end, the defense couldn't get the job done, allowing the Saints to march down the field for a go ahead field goal before the ill timed pick six put the game out of reach with under 1:40 to play. The biggest story surrounding this one was the penalties. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints Final Look | NFL Trade Deadline | Bucs Back To Getting No Love?
29/10/2021 Duração: 36minAs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepare to take on the New Orleans Saints, we take one final look at the upcoming game to see who's in, who's out, and the keys to victory. For the Bucs, it appears as though they will be getting Rob Gronkowski back, who hasn't played since week three against the Los Angeles Rams, and they may see the returns of Richard Sherman and Lavonte David. One player that they will not have is Antonio Brown, who was spotted at practice with a crutch as he continues to deal with an ankle injury. Head coach Bruce Arians is not optimistic that Brown will be back soon - luckily, the Bucs have their bye week coming up after this Sunday's game. For the Saints, they will be a little more vulnerable along the offensive line with Andrus Peat out the rest of the season with a pectoral injury. That means the Bucs' pass rush will be able to get after Jameis Winston a little easier than normal. With the trade deadline approaching, we have a listener call in about a potential trade they came across and if we

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints Preview: Leonard Fournette and Alvin Kamara Roles in Wk 8
28/10/2021 Duração: 30minAs we get set for a Week 8 matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints, Ross Jackson and David Harrison dive deeper into the contest between NFC South rivals.Passing game storylines figure to play a big role as a wounded Bucs secondary faces a Saints receiving corps struggling to find consistent playmakers. Then, we dive into the key matchups to the game, revolving largely around New Orleans running back, Alvin Kamara. Will the Tampa Bay defense be able to contain the star back without having to dedicate too many defensive assets to doing so? And can the Saints offense, especially quarterback Jameis Winston, do enough to capitalize on his talents? Finally, keeping Kamara contained, and winning the turnover battle figure to be the keys to winning for both the Buccaneers and the Saints, respectively. And we close out, with a pointed question about New Orleans' trust levels in Winston.Only in a Bucs and Saints matchup could Tom Brady be the least talked about quarterback, and it's all happening,

Mike Evans' Hall Of Fame Resume | Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints preview
27/10/2021 Duração: 45minJames is joined by WTSP 10 Tampa Bay Sports Director Evan Closky to dive into all things Tampa Bay Buccaneers as some listeners call in to voice their opinion on the 600th touchdown ball trade-off and what they would have done had they been handed Tom Brady's record setting touchdown game ball. Evan then gives his take on the situation.Mike Evans has a pretty impressive NFL record of his own, being the only receiver in NFL history to begin a career with seven consecutive 1,000 yard seasons. No other receiver to ever put on a pair of cleats can lay claim to that milestone. Not Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Steve Largent, Lance Allworth, Paul Warfield, or Raymond Barry. You may ask why I named those specific receivers and the answer is simple - those are the only receivers to ever be inducted to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame on the first ballot. So, having said that, is Mike Evans a first ballot Hall of Famer? It's too early to tell right now, but James and Evan debate the merits should Evans continue

26/10/2021 Duração: 33minAfter Victory Monday for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, comes Takeaway Tuesday, at the Locked On Bucs Podcast!Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy entered COVID-19 Protocols on Monday. Did he bring it with him to Tampa? As we take a deeper look into the Week 7 win for the Buccaneers, we ask the question: Did Bruce Arians leave the starters in too long? The NFC Playoff picture may shed some light on the answer as five teams currently stand with one loss or less in football's best conference. Then, James makes the case for Bucs quarterback Tom Brady being the real MVP leader as we near the midway point of the season. How does Brady's 2021 stack up against Kyler Murray's (Arizona Cardinals, QB)?In our final segment, James and David discuss the need for Tampa Bay to continue with the laser-like focus they've had since losing to the Los Angeles Rams, and how close wide receiver Chris Godwin is to climbing up the Buccaneers record books a little more, this coming Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.Follow & Subscribe

Tom Brady Throws Touchdown No. 600, Defense Dominates Bears, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Get the Win
25/10/2021 Duração: 35minThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers came out of Week 7 of the 2021 NFL Season with their sixth win, and have started the year 6-1 for the first time in franchise history. In the win, quarterback Tom Brady threw his 600th career touchdown, becoming the first and only passer in the history of the league to do so.Catching the pass was star wide receiver Mike Evans who finished with three scoring catches on the day, as Brady threw four in the first half, adding another to wide receiver Chris Godwin.Even without Antonio Brown, the Bucs were able to put together an impressive offensive performance, paired with a dominant defensive game for the Bucs who forced five turnovers against Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears.Three interceptions by defensive backs Dee Delaney, Jordan Whitehead and Pierre Desir accent the impeccable job being done by Tampa Bay defensive coordinator Todd Bowles as he continues to find ways for his unit to produce despite injuries to Carlton Davis III, Sean Murphy-Bunting, and Richard Sherman. The Buccanee

BONUS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2021 First Trimester Review w/ Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com
21/10/2021 Duração: 32minWith the first six weeks of the 2021 NFL Season in the books, we're officially one-third of the way through the year, and it's time for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' First Trimester Review!Scott Smith (Senior Writer/Editor of Buccaneers.com) joined me on the Locked On Bucs Podcast to discuss the first six weeks of Bucs football.Last year at this time Tampa Bay was 4-2, and sitting at 5-1 now the record may not be much different, but the feel of the team certainly is.This time last year Tom Brady was still new to the franchise and seeing him in a Buccaneers uniform was a little weird. Now, everyone is a lot more comfortable, but it doesn't mean the influence he brings has faded.New confidence arrived with Brady, and it's thriving now on the defense, even as they deal with injuries to players like Lavonte David, Carlton Davis III, Sean Murphy-Bunting, and the up and down health of Jamel Dean and Antoine Winfield Jr. Brought in to help relieve some of the tension, Richard Sherman has even found himself injured, addi

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Chicago Bears Crossover Preview | Storylines, Key Matchups, and Predictions
21/10/2021 Duração: 33minPreviewing the matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears in the NFL's Week 7 schedule of games.Tom Brady has shared the field with a lot of quarterbacks over the years, but this will be the first time the former Michigan Wolverines signal-caller will play on the same surface as former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback, Justin Fields.Fields was one year old when Brady was drafted in 2000 by the New England Patriots, and in the infancy of his career, will look to lead his Bears to an impressive upset win.Currently favored to win by 13 points, the injured but surviving Buccaneers defense will have to match up against star wide receiver Allen Robinson, fellow receiver Darnell Mooney, and Week 6 standout rookie running back Khalil Mack.Of course, Brady isn't entering the contest weaponless either, as Antonio Brown figures to be the most dangerous big-play threat (if he plays), while Mike Evans and Chris Godwin continue to form the NFL's most talented wide receiver trio. While linebacker Khalil Mack l

Final Thoughts On Buccaneers Win Over Eagles | Riding The Fournette Freight Train | Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Chicago Bears Preview
20/10/2021 Duração: 38minPutting a nice, tidy bow on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win over the Philadelphia Eagles, we are joined by 10 Tampa Bay's Evan Closky to get his thoughts on the Thursday Night game in week six. The defense stepped up as much as they could and Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles deserves a lot of credit for the way this defense has been playing given all the injury issues that side of the ball has been dealing with.Leonard Fournette - and whichever iteration of "Lenny" you want to give him - has been playing on another level over the past few weeks. In the most recent three game stretch, Fournette is third in the NFL in all-purpose yards, making him an indispensable part of the offensive game plan. Not only did he take full control of the starting - or lead - running back job, but he's playing himself right into a big contract in the off-season. Does that mean this year is the last we will see of Leonard Fournette in a Buccaneers uniform or will Jason Licht and Mike Greenberg be able to work some more magic and kee

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Make Some Roster Moves | Bigger Problem: Injuries Or Penalties? | MOCKtober
19/10/2021 Duração: 36minThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers made some roster moves on Monday, releasing wide receiver and return specialist Jaydon Mickens which can mean only one thing - it's Jaelon Darden time. In addition to the release of Mickens, the Bucs activated offensive lineman John Molchon. There were also some practice squad moves, with the Buccaneers releasing outside linebacker Elijah Ponder and signing long time cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson, who spent time with the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons. Wreh-Wilson will likely get a crash course in the defense in case the Bucs have to call on him to join the active roster, given all the injuries they're dealing with.Mailbag time as we had a string of questions sent in from Mad Dog. We dive into the discussion as to what the bigger problem for the Bucs is right now - penalties or injuries. We've talked non-stop about the injury problems, but the Bucs are among the NFL's worst in penalties, being called for the second most in the league while having the most penalty yards of any tea

Interview with Lars Anderson, Author of 'A Season in the Sun', about the 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
18/10/2021 Duração: 33minRemember when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady? What about when tight end Rob Gronkowski came out of retirement to play with his friend, and longtime teammate? If you remember those, do you remember the circumstances leading to running back Leonard Fournette joining the Bucs squad in 2020? Or Antonio Brown for that matter? You might remember them all, but you don't know those moments, and the build-up to them, the way Bruce Arians, Jason Licht, the players, and other members of the Buccaneers organization do.Fortunately, author Lars Anderson has access to all the players in this story of champions assembled, and he's sharing everything he's learned with readers in his new book titled, "A Season in the Sun: The Inside Story of Bruce Arians, Tom Brady, and the Making of a Champion".With a foreword by Arians himself, the book chronicles the assembling of a Super Bowl roster that didn't hit their stride until after they started the season 7-5, with more questions tha

Secondary Concerns with Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Antonio Brown Boomin for Bucs | Ronald Jones Future
18/10/2021 Duração: 31minThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night football, but it wasn't without more problems. The Buccaneers lost cornerback Richard Sherman to a hamstring injury and we have a caller on the show that voices his concern about the secondary continuing to be battered and bruised.Normally we give our biggest takeaways on Tuesdays but we dive into those now. For starters, with the coaching upheaval in Las Vegas, there are some names on the Bucs staff that could become top targets and candidates for the Las Vegas Raiders' Head Coach position after the 2021 season. What if we told you that Mike Evans was no longer the top wide receiver on the team? The numbers are pretty revealing that what James told you about starting in August is beginning to come to fruition - and with no signs of slowing down. Even with one fewer game played than Evans or Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown is now leading the team in targets for Tom Brady. All three receivers are close in terms of receptions and yards, but

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defeat Philadelphia Eagles Behind Strong Game From Leonard Fournette & Defense
15/10/2021 Duração: 29minThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally had a strong primetime showing in their Week 6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football.Playing in Philly, the Bucs came away with a 28-22 win thanks in large part to the rushing and receiving of running back, Leonard Fournette. With 127 all-purpose yards, Fournette led the way while quarterback Tom Brady was up to his usual strong showing, throwing for 297 yards and two touchdowns en route to a 102.1 quarterback rating, with one interception. The leading receiver of the game for the Bucs was wide receiver Antonio Brown who brought in nine of his 13 targets for 93 yards and one score.Fantasy football players who have Mike Evans on their roster will wake up disappointed as the star receiver had just two catches on four targets for 27 yards. Meanwhile, Chris Godwin had a better night with five catches on five targets and 43 yards, although zero touchdowns are sure to disappoint some.Tampa Bay won't be flying home disappointed, and defensive tackle Vita Vea conti

For Tampa Bay, they'll be without star players like linebacker Lavonte David, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and safety, Antoine Winfield Jr.Tom Brady was on the injury report all week, but was listed as a full participant and is good to go for Week 6. As are wide receiver Antonio Brown and cornerback Jamel Dean, among others. For the Eagles, an up and down start to the year has seen big days from both the offense and defense, and slow days for each as well. Typically, they come in different weeks with each unit alternating which one shows up, and which one needs picking up.Last week in a win over the Carolina Panthers, it was the defense, and not quarterback Jalen Hurts' o

Tom Brady and Antonio Brown Connect Make History in Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Win Over Miami Dolphins
11/10/2021 Duração: 32minJames Yarcho and David Harrison host the top-ranked podcast on the Apple Podcast charts focused on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their pursuit for another Super Bowl title in the 2021-2022 NFL Season! In Week 5 of the 2021 NFL Season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Miami Dolphins by a score of 45-17.Quarterback Tom Brady's 411 yards on 30 of 41 passing and five touchdowns not only led his team to victory, it set a personal career-best notching his first win with over 400-yards throwing and five or more touchdowns.Wide receiver Antonio Brown played a big role in that production and set an NFL record himself becoming the fastest NFL wide receiver to 900 receptions, doing so in 143 games. The previous best was 149 games, a mark set by Marvin Harrison of the Indianapolis Colts.Brown brought in a total of seven receptions, for 124 yards, and two touchdowns in this game.Joining Brown in the end zone on Sunday was wide receiver Mike Evans and running back Leonard Fournette. Evans finished with two touchdowns, w
