What happens in the United States and Canada matters to Indigenous people. Whether its a travel ban or the orange man leaning heaver on the trigger for the launch codes non-Indigenous issues matter to Indigenous people. In this podcast Sean explains how Indigenous issues are the constant in the history of Turtle Island. Karl shares that caring overall has a net positive benefit to everyone. Have things changed or are the white paper, defending the do-gooders of the residential school movement, and never ending undue scrutiny of First Nations finances the reality of Canada's relationship with it's first people?

Where should indigenous people focus their political activity? Within their own cultural practices, or in the broader Canadian society? Karl and Sean look at the trade-offs between both stances in this episode focusing on the place of voting in Indigenous communities as a change agent.
