Barnes arrived with his Yamaha in the back of a pickup truck and took home the lions share of the $175,000 purse and a new Rolex plus Yamaha contingency. His story is one we can't wait to hear! Arthur Kowitz was a true privateer when he went up against the factory giants in AMA Superbike in the 80's. He won the cup series race in Martinsville giving Hendrick Motorsports their first win. It came at a critical time for the upstart team. He is an International Race of Champions championship winner. Bodine also won the Busch Clash, the Winston Select and was the 1994 Busch Pole Award winner plus the 1986 Daytona 500! Daytona was also the place where Geoff was involved in one of the most violent crashes in American stock car history. It happened in the Daytona 250 NASCAR Truck Series race February 18th, 2000. Lock most recently served as COO of Automobili Lamborghini Americas, where he was responsible for developing the business and image of the famous Italian brand. Before joining Lamborghini, Lock spent nearly a decade at Ducati, including a key 8-year period as CEO of Ducati North America.
