They were bound and bent over the bathtub which was found overflowing with water. Police had a pretty good idea of the family's movements from that night but could never figure out who would have wanted this seemingly wholesome family dead. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the Durham family murders as well as a double murder of a couple, Jessie McBane and Patricia Mann, that occurred around the area the year before. In the case of the Durham family, rumors floated around about a crime syndicate who were rolling back odometers to get more out of their used car sales. Could it have been that Bryce Durham, who was in the car business, found out about this and had threatened to out the scam? 09/09/2019 Duração: 01h10minIn 1988, Michelle Norris was a 7-year-old girl growing up in Central Falls Rhode Island. Her father was an abusive alcoholic and her mother was suffering from various illnesses. Life for Michelle and her siblings was extremely tough. On May 28th, 1988, Michelle disappeared from a school playground located across from her grandparent's house. Two days later her body was found in a wooded lot. Someone had folded her clothes neatly and put them next to her body. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Michelle Norris. In the months leading up to Michelle's murder, there were a number of kids who were either murdered or went missing from areas near Central Falls. Michelle's father William hit the radar of police early on in the case. He has been interviewed many times over the years and has continually changed his story. Her husband and two daughters had been killed while she was gone. The family car was also missing. Police would later find it in Florida being driven by a man who was building an addition onto the family house. The contractor said he had no memory of the day the murders are believed to have occurred or his flight to Florida. A controversial decision to allow him to tell what he remembered under hypnosis was the key to his trial. After a strange series of events took place in the hotel he was found in his room in a pool of blood. Doctors were unable to save this man and he died. The mystery deepened as the authorities could not confirm his identity. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious murder in room 1046 at the hotel President. Police later learned that the man had checked into another Kansas City hotel using a different name. Who murdered this John Doe and why? There were a number of interesting characters in the hotel around the time of his death but police could never put it all together. A woman came forward claiming this person was her son but was he really? 22/07/2019 Duração: 59minIn 1968, all six members of the Robison family were murdered at their lake home in Northern Michigan. The Robisons were an affluent family from the Detroit area. The father, Richard, was a successful businessman. Joseph Scolaro, one of Richard's high-level executives, would become the prime suspect in the murders. But, despite a good deal of evidence against him, Scolaro was never charged. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the case of the Robison family murders, also known as the Good Hart murders. Good Hart is the city in Michigan that was close to where their lake home was located. The evidence against Joseph Scolaro began to mount but officials declined to charge him with the murders. Years later when another prosecutor began moving forward with charges, Scolaro took his own life. Iran has long maintained that they have no idea of Bob's whereabouts, but have openly questioned why he was operating in their country while working for the CIA. This case has spanned three US Presidents and multiple Secretaries of State, and the United States government has so far been unable to figure out what happened to Bob. Kirsty Bentley was only 15-years-old when she went out to walk her dog Abby on that fateful December 31, 1998 day. And through the years since that day, there have been a number of potential suspects. On February 1, 1995, Richey disappeared prior to a scheduled flight to the United States where the band was set to tour. Sightings were reported all over the world in the wake of his disappearance but no concrete evidence of him has ever surfaced. This case is 90 years old and remains one of Detroit's most baffling and brutal unsolved murders. While researching this case, we found two other solved mass murders that occurred on St. Aubin Avenue many years later. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the unsolved St. Aubin Massacre as well as two other fascinating solved mass murders that happened on the very same street. One happened in 1990 and involved an 18-year-old female drug kingpin named Tamarra Marshall. Tamarra decided to wipe out a whole crew that was threatening her drug trade and this crew just happened to include her ex-boyfriend. The other murders occurred this decade when Mitchelle Blair killed two of her children and hid them in the family's freezer for years. This series has also been called the I-40 murders and the Bible Belt Strangler murders. Some of the victims in this series have never been identified and there are some that believe the series dates back to the late 1970s and may extend into the 1990s. There are inherent issues that result from murders that happen in so many different jurisdictions. Two serial killers, Tommy Lynn Sells and Angel Resindez, have been linked to the murders. Tommy Lynn confessed but making sense of his confessions was always tough for the authorities because he confessed to everything he could. This case remains unsolved and in the end, one thing is clear, it takes a special kind of evil to commit the type of murders that occurred in this case.
