The case is also referred to as the Hammersmith nude murders. 8 young women were killed during this time period. The murder occurred over the Thanksgiving holiday when many students were back home with family. Witnesses saw a man flee the library but he has never been conclusively identified. She had already obtained her undergraduate degree and was working on her graduate degree at Penn State. She had a loving boyfriend who was attending college there with her. Who would want to kill this young, beautiful woman who was so loved by everyone that knew her. Police have tried unsuccessfully for years to figure out who this trucker was who stopped behind Tammy on the side of the road. Could this mystery man have been Tammy's killer?
