David is famous for playing as part of arguably one of the best Southampton sides ever including Mick Channon, Alan Ball and Kevin Keegan who came close to winning titles and trophies under Lawrie McMenemy. David tells us about being involved in one of the greatest Saints goals ever, playing over 350 consecutive games while at Middlesborough and how he adapted to life after football following an injury that left him disabled from his mid 30s.  Following the interview with David, Tom and John discuss Saints recent form in the Premier League, the games against Chelsea, Manchester City and Hull City. We also discuss rumours about Claud Puel and whether he will be eased out of the club in the summer.

We talk about his famous performance in the 2003 FA Cup semi final, playing in the final and losing to Arsenal 1-0.  Brett tells us about James Beattie, Anders Svennsson, and life under Gordon Strachan and what it was like in that great Saints side that made it to 8th in the Premier League and to the FA Cup final. Brett also tells us what it was like as Saints started to fracture after Strachan left, Harry Redknapp, Rupert Lowe and Clive Woodward are all discussed in a time when Brett tells us Saints had lost their way. Afterwards we give our opinion on Southampton's performance in the EFL Cup final versus Manchester United, what the atmosphere was like and our thoughts for the rest of the season.
