This week we focus on different ways that teachers can easily communicate to parents through wiki's, email, forms, remind101.com, and a quick look at Google Voice. Although Guitar Hero is not key to parent communication communicating POSITIVE feedback to parents is.

This week Jake and Tim take on the difficult subject of technology and multitasking! We all feel so much more productive when we are doing multiple things... don't we? Are we? What does the research say? We need to focus our tasks to get down to real CREATIVE work. This episode explores possible ways to do that.

A discussion about iPads in the CMS environment, and how we envision them be used in CMS. Also other resources are shared to discuss how teachers are using iPad's in CMS.

This week we take some time to discuss the staff that supports the on site technological needs of our teachers and students in CMS. We interview the Information System Manger at CMS to help us understand the larger role they play in helping our students and teachers integrate technology on a daily basis. There is so much potential with Edmodo in these short minutes, we just scratch the surface of what is possible.

Good morning and welcome to IT weekly no. 7. That's right. This is no. 7 IT weekly. My name is Timothy Smith and it is great to have you with us today. Also today is Jay Sandish(?) and here's a good idea a lot of great ideas out there lot of fun. Things we like to share with you and today we're gonna focus on the national education technology plan and the first part of that that's right sorry the first part of that is about learning engagement and empowerment and so we're gonna be talking about how that goes so before we get into that first part we have a bunch(?) of screening for those of it that supposedly they are following us on our podcast(?) vocally(?). The NETP(?) or the National Education Tech Plan is called transforming American Education learning powered by technology. It's that technology is in the Spencer(?) of all we do and it shouldn't be separated or even a separate part. So that's kinda the whole purpose.
