Pat and Tad are snowed in at the STF Subscribers Only Lounge over the holidays. Following USAU's big announcement, Pat and Tad take a break from staring into the void of Christmas this year to look forward to some actual ultimate that might be played at some point, specifically college ultimate that might be played by 25 year old adults in their seventh year of eligibility. They also discuss the distressing state of online ultimate culture and react to the breaking vaccine news.

It’s like the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Special, but for the worst Thanksgiving ever. Pat and Tad go over the Thanksgiving dinner table topics you would have to awkwardly navigate if there wasn’t a pandemic, try to replace Turkey Bowl pickup, and feature some special guest stars who are also going through it. The perfect accompaniment for eating your frozen TV dinner alone on Thursday!

The election is over and STF has the scoop live from the ground in Pennsylvania and Georgia. Tad gives his professional opinion on every angle of the Four Seasons Landscaping debacle, before Preston Thompson - Georgia political organizer and member of the Ultiworld family - comes on the program to bask in Georgia's blue state status and send a message out to the haters. All that plus an update on the STF Skill Challenge, catching up on actual frisbee news we missed, and some important lessons on friendship in T/T/Fb.

Pat and Tad give a quick update on the 2020 Presidential election.

There's no Nationals this weekend, but at least we have this new skills challenge which is just as good! Right! Right? Pat and Tad put their own spin on a skills contest, before bringing Frank Sarbones back on the show to talk about what Club Nationals was like in 1994. All of that plus beer elitism, the frisbee to frat pipeline, and some Staten Island Ferry talk. Just feel that briny air!

We’ve all had them. Ghosts from our old dreams, unicorns roaming the grassy fields of what could have been, avatars of different lives we could have lived. This week Pat and Tad look back at the ones that got away - the best ultimate players from their past who didn't stick with this dumb sport. It's a weird one.All that plus STF tackles the tricky subject of dying at the fields, spends too much time talking about The Godfather, and addresses the latest conflict in the Ultimate/Disc Golf culture war.

The summer of 2020 is finally over. Fall may not be much better, but at least we made it. With autumn in the air, the STF guys look at the magic of fall college tournaments and all of the important lessons one can learn from unsanctioned play. Fall isn't just tournament parties and going X/Y, it's also when Canadian teams come down over the border and pillage bids at Sectionals and Regionals. Seriously, what is up with that? Later, Tad gives insight into his diplomatic summit with Brodie and the role "Toxic Ultimate Twitter" has in the culture.

Tad is on vacation this week, but as everyone starts to feel the ghost pangs of a lost postseason, STF offers a look back at some sectionals and regionals of the past with a compilation of the best tales of winning and losing (mostly losing. Just lots and lots of soul wrenching losing) in the postseason that the show has covered over the past five years.

Pat and Tad are back, and after catching up on some light Brodie fanfic, pour one out for Masters Nationals and speculate on what college would have been like with no ultimate for a semester. All that plus an important anniversary and a petty but justified (?) T/T/FB.

As some parts of the country start toying with the idea of playing ultimate again, Pat and Tad talk about what a return to play should feel like. How much can you change the rules of the game and have it still be worth playing?Tad reports on his continued dalliances with the world of disc golf, and the guys mull over theories on why Brodie refuses to take him on at Schenley. Is it cowardice? Something worse?All this plus a story from Uzbekistan, a braggadocious X-Ray tech, and a T/T/F we can all get on board with.

It’s a somber tone for the fifth anniversary episode of Sin The Fields, because when there isn’t a Wildwood did the year even happen?Things cheer up with a set of incredible guests. First, Max Charles and Lili Gu come by to talk about the massive BIPOC highlight reel to be released next week and delve into the details of how these things get made and how they hope this will help the ultimate community rise to the current moment. Then the guys welcome a very special guest: mid-Atlantic ultimate legend Frank Sarbones, who was at the first ever Wildwood 28 years ago. Time earned wisdom not to be missed. 

The madness of a long, hot summer without ultimate is really setting in, as Pat and Tad ponder whether not having tournaments to play this year is an opportunity for personal growth, or like being forsaken by an uncaring god. Maybe both?The guys take stock of everyone’s chosen ultimate methadone, Disc Golf. Does it scratch the itch for ultimate die hards? Also, Pat commits to eating a lot of eggs for a good cause and weirdo Redskins name defenders get lit up in T/T/F.

To commemorate the loss of the 2020 summer league season, the STF guys wind back the clock and reminisce on some of their best and worst summer league experiences. Plenty of great listener emails about favorite league moments, team names, and weird stories make a surprisingly cogent argument about the importance of summer league to us all.

With the club regular season officially canceled, the STF guys look back on their first-ever club seasons. Did they suck? Have they learned anything? Pat and Tad had to spend a Memorial Day Weekend at home for the first time in about six years and quite frankly they aren't having it. What could go wrong with either!All the cool kids are doing the 6/12/18/24 challenge while in isolation so Pat fields a few questions on it from his experience with the challenge back in October.
