Born in 1970, Miss Play starts playing music at the early age of 4, playing violin at the Conservatory of Versailles.In 1980, a first major event imprints her life: two days after the death of Ian Curtis (Joy Division), Miss Play discovers the dark universe of the Cold Wave scene and gets influenced by Siouxsie and the Banshees, And Also the Trees, Cocteau Twins In 1988 comes the time of Acid House and the Garage scene in Detroit and Chicago. In 1994 she adopts the Goa Trance hardhouse sound and works with various labels such as F Com, Banzai, Twisted andEye Q.She buys her first turntables in 1995 and starts DJing in most of Parisian night clubs, with fellow DJs G Rom, Fex, K Mu, Arnaud Le Texier, D'Juls... and invades the scenes of London, Berlin, Marrakech, Doha or New York.Nowadays, Miss Play sets are appreciated for their carefully crafted architecture of resolute Afro Soulful, Deep and Progressive House, a style that has become her signature.******Née en 1970, Miss Play commence très tôt sa carrière dans la musique en rejoignant dès lâge de 4 ans le Conservatoire de Versailles en tant que violoniste.2 jours après la mort de Ian Curtis en 1980, le chanteur du mythique groupe Joy Division, elle bascule dans lunivers dark et underground de la Cold Wave, influencée par Siouxsie and the Banshees, And Also the Trees, Cocteau Twins Cest donc tout naturellement quaprès sa rencontre avec lAcid House dès 1988, puis la Garage de Detroit et Chicago, quelle adopte les sons hardhouse et Trance Goa avec les labels F Com, Banzai, Twisted et Eye Q. Elle achète ses premières platines en 1995, où elle commence a écrémer la plupart des clubs de la capitale en jouant notamment avec G Rom, Fex, K Mu, Arnaud le Texier, DJuls puis en sexportant à Londres, Berlin, Marrakech, Doha ou encore New York.Aujourdhui, les sets de Miss Play sont reconnus et appréciés pour leur orientation afro soulful, deep et progressive, et leur construction soignée. The first travel of a great round, the passage between my past and my new life. For the record, it has been track listed during my flight on the way back to Paris. I keep wonderful memories from it.
