This week we cover 60's model and artist Charlotte Martin as well as modern muse and poet Scarlett Sabet. Charlotte Martin is a beautiful French artist who was an in demand model in the swinging 60's scene. She was Eric Clapton's first love, the mother of Jimmy Page's only daughter Scarlet, and a name you find often comes up in other Muses memoirs. Scarlett Sabet is a poet and performer with 5 published works who has been dating Jimmy since 2015. Her 2019 spoken word album Catalyst, was produced by Page and the pair live together in West London. Daughter of showbiz attorney Lee Eastman, Linda grew up with deep respect and fascination for the arts. By her late teens an interest in photography led her to New York City where she began her career shooting all the most respected musicians of the 60's. Linda's naturally gifted eye and her ability to connect to her subjects made her a favourite of anyone she happened to shoot and made her photographs some of the most intimate portraits you can find. When Linda first met Paul McCartney she knew she'd found the one. The pair would marry within 22 months, just as The Beatles were coming to an end. Galadrielle went on a quest to discover the untold stories of her father, and created a beautiful book that serves as both an Allman Brother's band biography, and a a personal snapshot of the family and people that shaped them. This week Lynx shares the story of Swedish actress Britt Ekland. This week we discuss the life, loves and career of Swedish beauty Britt Ekland. Beginning her acting career while still a teen, it didn't take long before the world took notice. Britt was just 21 when she married a 38 year old Peter Sellers after a 10 day whirlwind romance. During their 4 year marriage they worked on multiple films together, had one daughter and experienced some incredible highs and lows. In the 60's and 70's Britt would star in many cult classics including The Wicker Man, Get Carter and was even a Bond girl in The Man with the Golden Arm. Britt would also go on to date Warren Beatty, Lou Adler, Rod Stewart and marry drummer Slim Jim Phantom. This week we hear a fantastic story from Miss Danni of the Beatle Bandaids. The way that it came to be is this: Danni posted a photo on her Instagram of her and Robert Plant. This week Lynx presents the story of actress Valerie Bertinelli and her 26 year marriage to guitarist Eddie Van Halen. Valerie was just 15 years old when she was thrust into the spotlight on the hit tv show One Day at a Time. From there came a solid career in TV in both series and films. At age 20 Valerie was invited backstage at a Van Halen show and 8 months later her and Eddie would be married. Though their love for one another was strong, each of them had their own demons they were battling, Ed, drug and alcohol abuse and Valerie, body dysmorphia and disordered eating. Through extreme highs and lows the pair stuck it out for 26 years, had one son, Wolfgang, and then discovered a newfound friendship in one another after the divorce. This week Chanty's presents the story of Patsy Cline based on her biography Patsy Cline: Honky Tonk Angel by Ellis Nassour. As a child, Patsy knew that she would grow up to be a famous singer. Patsy didn't wait for doors to open for her, she kicked them down and carved a path for herself. Patsy was ahead of the times in both her singing, musicianship and feminism. Patsy lead by example, showing other women in the industry what it meant to stand up for yourself. Patsy was a generous and loyal friend as well as a loving mother. Her life was cut short in 1963 at the age of 30 when the plane she was flying on crashed on the way home from a benefit concert. This week the Muses discuss sisters Jean and Chrissie Shrimpton and their lives as public figures in the Swinging London scene. Dubbed the World's first Supermodel, Jean appeared on every magazine imaginable in the 60's. Muse to her then boyfriend, photographer David Bailey, Jean rose to the top of the fashion world where she dominated the scene for the next decade. Her younger sister Chrissie was also a model, but it was her relationship with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger that catapulted her into the public eye. New network and a new episode format! This week we each present one Muse, Uschi Obermaier and Patti Hansen. What legendary rockstar do they have in common? Keith Richards of course! When Uschi Obermaier first emerged on the scene all of Germany was in awe. Model, actress and overall wild child, she would become the poster child for the sexual revolution. Everybody wanted to meet her, from political activist Ranier Langhans, to Jimi Hendrix and of course The Rolling Stones, Uschi would inspire a generation to live free and enjoy life. "Don't dream your life", she once said, "Live your dreams." Discovered at the young age 16, Patti Hansen began a career as a model, working with A-List photographers for all the biggest magazines. It was on her 23rd birthday at the height of her career that she would meet Keith Richards but it wasn't until later that year, at Keith's 36th birthday party that the pair would officially connect.
