Sinopse
Jabberwocky Audio Theater (aka JAT) is a group of storytellers writing, recording, and podcasting out of Deepest Springfield. Inspired by the classic shows of Radios Golden Age, JAT aims to create well-crafted tales to entertain and engross modern audiences. As our name suggests, we will focus on fantastical tales set on other worlds, in other lands, and in places disturbingly similar to our own. Our travels will also take us to classic tales of adventure, where well give them a fresh audio twist. And were also not averse to venturing into the realm of the rampantly silly and absurd. Our name is Jabberwocky after all.We hope you join us on the journey.Visit our website at: www.jabberaudio.com

Quorum — The Gambler’s Tale: “Outstanding Debts,” Part 10 of 10
28/12/2018 Duração: 28minProfessional poker player Jimmy Harmon’s time in Las Vegas has been anything but routine. A bomb set by a henchman in the employ of Las Vegas gangster Wiktoria Sałkiewicz has apparently led to the death of his friend Will Archer. Sałkiewicz denies involvement, but they are attacked by armed gunmen before she can elaborate. Evading the attackers, Harmon and fellow gambler Rachael “Peeps” Leblanc head out of town, only to find a corpse half-buried in the desert, a set of unscrupulous federal agents in close pursuit. Returning to the city, Harmon seeks out veteran poker player “Big Mike” Dalton for help, only to discover that Dalton himself has been deeply involved in the past week’s activities. Dalton and the same gunmen who earlier attached Sałkiewicz hustle Harmon out to the hotel parking lot, only to run up against both the federal agents and the Las Vegas Police — a confrontation that results in a hail of unrestrained gunfire. Rated AD-PG, so parental guidance is suggested Contains uses of JC’s name in vain

Bonus Music Track: Quorum Blues
02/12/2018 Duração: 02minA special bonus for JAT listeners: the complete track of one of jazz tracks we recording specifically for Quorum. Brooks Tegler, whom many listeners probably know as Captain Reg Macorum on Rogue Tyger, is also an accomplished jazz musician and band leader. We used much of his music for Quorum, but we didn’t quite have what we needed for the “chase music.” So what we did we do? Ask Brooks to do what he does best: organize a group of seasoned pros to record some new tracks. This is one of the takes from that recording session.

I mean, the Martians really aren’t trying to be good neighbors. Click here for complete show notes.
