  • LTBP #134 - Ian Stevenson: From £1 Outdoor Bootcamps to a 120+ Member Facility

    12/10/2018 Duração: 25min

"Concentrate on the client's you do have instead of the client's you don't have"   I joined LTB back in December 2013 and the first person I spoke to was a guy named Ian Stevenson. When he started in LTB, he was running a bootcamp that he charged £1 per session for, now he's got a facility with over 120 members in it and 2 members of staff. If you ever wanted some inspiration for building something out of very little in our world of personal training, Ian is one of the best examples you'll see.   He's had more ups and downs than most and will likely be the first to tell you "the big red fuck-it button" still exists, but he's an excellent example of someone who has built something with his members in the forefront of his mind throughout, tried his best to learn & grow whenever possible and asked for help & support when he's needed it.    For anyone who tunes into this one and can't make out what we're saying, I'm sorry but you're just going to have to make do as the transcription service had no chance

  • LTBP #128 - Elias Scarr: Selling Through Relationship Building, Personality Profiling & Objection Handling

    05/09/2018 Duração: 01h24s

"99% of sales comes way before the close. The sale will take care of itself if you take care of people" -- Elias Scarr   Elias is the membership director at Results Fitness, the gym which previous podcast guest Alwyn Cosgrove runs. As he is the membership director when it comes to sales and the consultation process he knows his stuff inside out.    If you listen to this episode, here are a few big things I picked up: - Comparing being an expert vs being good enough in the numerous things that personal trainers need to do. - Creating a benefits list for getting over self-worth issues. - Making the asking for money stage as easy as asking a friend for money for something you have paid for by focussing on building the relationship. - Reframing objections as buying signals, which can be fixed.   Results Fitness University LTB 2-Week Free Trial
