Tim Wise is one of the most prominent anti racist writers and educators in the United States. He recently wrote a viral Twitter thread on how Democratic candidates should approach the 2020 election by focusing on defeating Trumpism and by framing Trump's racist strategy as an existential threat to the nation. Wise helped defeat neo Nazi David Duke and shared the strategy used when Duke ran for Senate and then for governor in Louisiana, and he perfectly describes what white privilege is, and he explains how to help people understand the concept. He's a brilliant and fascinating man. He's even funny. A must listen show.

Gloria Allred is one of the top women's right's attorneys in the country. For 43 years her practice has been one of the leading private women's rights law firms and this Saturday she'll be inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame. We talked about the allegation that she silenced one of Harvey Weinstein's victims. We also discussed where women are today in the era of Trump and where they're headed. Abortion rights and the Equal Rights Amendment were a big part of the conversation as well.

Actress Kristen Johnston is back to talk about her show Mom on CBS. We talked about Third Rock and her impressive theater career. You know you want to hear THAT story. She's also a rape survivor and she explained that sharing her story publicly helped her heal. The Equal Rights Amendment is also part of the discussion.

Actor, resister Kirk Acevedo Oz, Band Of Brothers, 12 Monkeys, joined Kimberley to talk politics and acting. Kirk described his impression of Trump the two times they met. He talks about boycotting Equinox, political correctness, and how the private school his daughter attended prayed for a Trump victory prior to the 2018 midterm elections. After the two talked politics, they dove into Kirk's acting career and discussed his role on HBO's OZ as well as portraying Joe Toye, who earned four purple hearts,on Band Of Brothers. Body image was also a topic of conversation. Such a fun show.
