Across The Pond - Episode 3 - Darrell Scott
20/09/2009 Duração: 56minOn this week's Across The Pond we skip back one year to a special I did with my good friend Darrell Scott. Darrell is one of the most successful songwriters in music having written hit songs for Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, The Dixie Chicks, Sarah Evans, Travit Tritt and more. He is also one of the finest performers out there today and tours extensively around the world. I have had the pleasure of seeing Darrell play live many times and each time he takes you on a journey filled with stories of love and life. So last year Darrell released an album of covers, songs by other writers that he loves. The CD is called Modern Hymns and features music from writers like Paul Simon and Joni Mitchel. So I called Darrell at his home in Nashville and we chatted about his career so far and this unique record. Next week I will be back with a brand new show featuring new music from Tom Byrne, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Lumiere and Guy Clark
