Nick brings in a new co-host, former minor leaguer Kyle Fernandes to talk about Albert Belle's run-in with the law, MLB players being mic'd up and the most recent viral baseball video. Plus, it's time for season predictions with Opening Day upon us.

Texas Rangers pitcher Martin Perez killed and ate a bull that came at him. Joe Kelly and Stephen Vogt are taking over Twitter. Yu Darvish and Marcus Stroman are re-defining "keep a hitter off balance." But while there's some weird stuff to celebrate around the game, Congress and MLB are attempting to make life (more) unpleasant for minor league baseball players.

Nick is back after a week in Fort Myers. He discusses the experience, as well as some recent signings (Moustakas and Arrieta) and his disappointment with this year's Oscars.

Alex Rodriguez is back with the team that couldn't have kicked him out fast enough. WHY? Rich Eisen seems to think it's a good idea to insert whoever he wants in the batting order in the 9th inning. Nick weighs in on both and hits on Shohei Ohtani's body armor and the most recent Tim Tebow update.

Some crazy media fights have gone down since the last episode. Nick weighs in on both, plus JD Martinez has finally signed with the Red Sox. MLB's recent rule changes, Fergie's rendition of the National Anthem and Black Panther are on the docket.

Evan Drellich of NBC Spots Boston joins this week's show to discus the free agency drama that's begun to boil. He and Nick also talk about the Boston market versus others, as well as Evan's view on statistics within the game.

Nick discusses the 2018 Baseball Hall of Fame class with Sacred Heart pitching coach Wayne Mazzoni. Plus, Nick makes the case for Curt Schilling over Mike Mussina. Nick and Mazz also get into Academy Awards nominations.

Logan Morrison, most recently of the Tampa Bay Rays, is still waiting to find a new place to call home, so he had a few minutes to hop on the show with Nick. They discuss the Wednesday's Hall of Fame announcements, player-media relationships and players putting their personality on display.

NBC Sports Chicago's Cubs reporter Kelly Crull joins Nick to talk about her glory days as a Division I tennis player at Missouri. They also talk about the state of the journalism business, as well as MLB players putting their personality on full display. And Kelly makes the case for why Joe Maddon is the type of manager a reporter should appreciate.

There was a minor blip on the MLB Hot Stove radar, but it SEAMS to have been a false alarm. More importantly, this is Trucco's final episode as a regular on the podcast. He and Nick go over why, and where the show has gone since they started a year ago.

The second half of Nick's interview with one of the best strength coaches in all of baseball, Eric Cressey. They discuss one of his newer clients, Noah Syndergaard and how that's progressed. Plus, Cressey's thoughts on Shoehei Ohtani, the modern athlete and STATS!

You may be familiar with Ken Rosenthal or Jon Heyman as being two of the names that constantly break trades and signings. Well the apparent leader of the next wave of national baseball reporters is Chris Cotillo of SB Nation's MLB Daily Dish, and he sat down with Nick to discuss the business and the many obstacles you face with the work he does. Plus, Cotillo takes a shot at Nick and Trucco's alma mater, Northwestern University.

Nick sat down with Joon Lee of Bleacher Report to discuss how a 22-year-old already has a signifiant role with a major site, and how he's working to be recognized by the BBWAA. Plus, they talk some Star Wars.
