Episode 95: Picasso At The Wheel Tour (Part 1) by Patcast by Pat Monahan (of Train)

During his time as president of both Columbia and Capitol records, Steve Barnett has been a champion for some of the biggest artists in the music world, and that's only in the last 10 years of his career. This week, we find out all about one of the most important men in the music industry, right here on the Patcast.

Back in the late 90s, BBMak had a huge single, got labeled a boy band (probably unfairly), and went from being completely unknown in Liverpool to a huge hit in the US. And they played a whole bunch of shows with Train. On this episode of the Patcast, Pat and BBMak's Ste McNally reconnect, play some music, and talk about what it means to be slapped with a label and how to navigate a constantly changing music industry.

This week we get to know a dozen of Train's biggest fans. They've traveled all over the UK and the world to see Train play, and they sat down with us in Scotland to tell their stories. They requested some of their favorite Train songs, and we had a live acoustic session. All that plus an update on the Matt Nathanson/Elle King beef on this week's Patcast.
