Weekly Update --- American Neocons Get Their Iran War As Congress Sleeps by Ron Paul Liberty Report

Hillary Clinton became the latest big-name Democrat to outright demand that the government crack down on speech, telling CNN that if they don't get a handle on Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok and others they will "lose total control." But should they have total control? Also today: As Russia moves closer to capturing a major fortified strategic town, the US and EU keep pushing Ukraine to continue a bloody and losing battle.

It was a short strike, but it gave Americans a taste of what restraint of trade looks like, and how consumers and businesses respond to it. This should be kept in mind if Trump’s imposes tariffs. Tariffs are a tax on Americans (not China, or anyone else). Tariffs also restrain trade and drive up prices, while handing more of our earnings to DC. Don’t they take enough from us?

Homeland Security Director Mayorkis admitted that after spending hundreds of millions helping illegal migrants, FEMA has no money left to help American hurricane victims. And yet, they are still being recklessly deployed to no benefit of our nation.

For over 100 years, the U.S. government ‘tolerated’ freedom of speech because they virtually controlled the information that Americans received. Whether it be from the government-controlled schools, or from watching one of the handful of ‘licensed’ TV stations, all Americans consumed the same pre-packaged “narratives.” There was no threat to the government from Americans speaking freely, as long as the “narratives” were controlled. But that monopoly has been shattered with the Internet. Americans now choose their sources of information, and while lies will always exist, the American people actually have fighting chance to hear the truth for once! Under these circumstances, government is finding freedom of speech intolerable for their agendas.

Another $8 Billion to Ukraine. The very next day, another $8.7 billion to Israel. Sadly, the U.S. taxpayer is not even an afterthought in all of this. While American society descends further and further into economic and moral calamity, those who work hard are forced to watch their earnings literally go up in smoke. Working for a living has been replaced with working for a bankrupt empire.

As the body count in Gaza and Lebanon continues to rise, a new public opinion poll has found that a mere 24 percent of Americans surveyed support the continuation of unconditional military and other aid to Israel.
