Trentus Magnus Punches Reality

A very exhausted Magnus struggles against exhaustion after an exhausting week filled with... anyway, really sleepy, that's the point. But nothing will stand in the way of some first impressions of Dark Phoenix, which is currently in the process of failing at the box office. Is Dark Phoenix really as bad as they say? Or is there is a hidden gem hidden in the exhausted exhaustion whatever just listen to the show.

Let's not bury the lead here, boys and girls. In this week's adventure, Magnus Lad can only look on in shock as Mon-El, like, literally punches reality. There's some behind the scenes baloney that goes into this story point. But the long and the short of it is that the Legion Of Super-Heroes as readers had known them went bye-bye in this issue. And arguably, they've never been seen again. Arguably. From a certain point of view. Either way, big doings are happening in Legion Of Super-Heroes #04 and it's time we started talking about them.

Two episodes in one week? Yes indeed! The Legion lovefest continues as Magnus pores over every single panel of Legion Of Super-Heroes v4 #03, absorbing every last nerdy detail that The Giff threw in.

The Five Years Later period is most probably the most sadly underrated era of the Legion's entire history. And that's a real shame because any one of these 5YL issues has more spark, energy and creativity than some entire runs of modern comics. So crank up the synthwave and let's get our 80's on!

Ranty McMagnus has a bee in his bonnet with digital comics, boys and girls. And you people are going to hear all about it! Oddly enough, Magnus is able to draw two or three relatively straight lines between buying digital comics through an app today and buying paper comics from speculators back in the nineties.
