Between The Stripes Loi Podcast

With the new League of Ireland season just a couple of weeks away, the Between the Stripes LOI Podcast team examine the business done by all 20 clubs across both divisions and evaluates each side's respective chances ahead of the new campaign. There's also a discussion on the scrapping of season bundles for LOI TV.  

The 2021 League of Ireland season may have drawn to a close but our season finale is our juiciest podcast of the year as the lads discuss the managerial merry-go-round that has unfolded in the past week with Stephen O'Donnell, Tim Clancy and Kevin Doherty all looking set for new jobs.  Aside from three top-class interviews with FAI Cup winner Alan Matthews, promotion winner Liam Kerrigan and Derry City chief Ruaidhri Higgins the lads also dish out the BTS end-of-season awards.  There's talk of how the 2022 campaign may look, we field your questions and comments while there's also a chance for listeners to win a copy of FIFA 22 just in time for Xmas.  What a way to round off what has been an incredible year for Between the Stripes!

It's FAI Cup Final week so we speak to two men who know what it takes to lift the famous old trophy in former St.Pat's star and cup winner with Sligo Rovers Danny North, while Mark Rossiter was part of the last Bohemians team to win the competition in 2008.  We kick this week's pod off by getting the latest from WLR FM Broadcaster Damien Tiernan after Marc Bircham was sensationally dismissed by Waterford FC on Tuesday morning.  Kieran & Gary also reflect on the final round of games in the Premier Division and look ahead to Friday's promotion/relegation play-off final involving Waterford and UCD.  A bumper edition of the show not to be missed!
