Knowing Jesus Intimately  This lesson, in the continuing series on Knowing Jesus, explores the concept of developing an intimate, close relationship with Jesus as our companion and friend.  The lesson covers several ideas, including: (1) defining true friendship, (2) the impression our friendship should leave with others, (3) what it means to have Jesus as our friend, and (4) qualifications to be Jesus’s friend.  The lesson concludes with an invitation to respond to the message.

This lesson looks at two of Jesus’s titles, Son of God and Son of Man, the latter of which is used most often by Jesus himself. The lesson explores these titles for their distinguishing characteristics from the perspectives of: (1) how they are alike, (2) how they are different, and (3) what are the implications for our lives. Knowing Jesus - The Light of Men This lesson explores Knowing Jesus as the Light of Men, essential to life.  Using an acrostic from the word LIGHT, 5 aspects are explored, as follows: (1) Life and light are related intellectually, morally, and spiritually; (2) Illumination is both physical and spiritual; (3) Glory in his grace and truth; (4) Heaven’s light; and (5) Transformation by his light.  The lesson concludes with an invitation to see the Light and obey.
