What a great interview with return guest Kristina with the prelaunch of her next book becoming flawsome.  We began with the myth that if I love myself unconditionally I won't become better. Yet by the end of the interview she mentioned how the Dali Lama told her you can't help anyone unless you're happy.  Happiness and success are different according to Kristina.  She had it all but wasn't happy, she then asked what's wrong with me yet shifted from judgment into more curious questions around self-love and happiness. In a society where martyrdom is glorified... having our personal goals include happiness at the top, is pretty rare.  We shared how at some point we just need to stop running not just towards More success, but stop running away from ourselves, to slow down, be brave and face our dragons.  I call that cultivating a solid intimate relationship with ourselves. Oh my God I love this woman! We had so much fun! It had been a while since I was on Lilli's Podcast and I forgot how much we get on like a house on fire! OMG I love Scot. What a Podcast, YET the 'after conversation' after our very feisty Podcast brought me closer to him as my friend than ever. I respect him more, feel more heard and supported than ever. It was an amazing gift to, in the face of disagreement, keep our hearts open, connected and curious... and to have our heart's meet in truth. What a fascinating life story that led Frank to lead his mission so fully! He did an exquisite job of sharing what it's like to live a double life, a secret life of addiction. My word this woman is amazing. We have a very similar approach to healing by developing a meaningful connection with ourselves. She has a chapter in her book about Little Me as well! Holy shit. I don't think I've ever had an interview like this before. I wanted to stop the interview my stomachache was so bad. But I sat in the fire asking, what is it that I couldn't stomach? And then compassion began to arise. I continued to ask questions and invite the conversation into the heart. And then I heard in my being, a friend Carolyn who's passed... a time when she asked me a really tough question that supported the shift in the trajectory of my life.
