Allah's name Al-'Aleem- the All Knowing. It is Allah's attribute of being in the know of every single matter and antimatter and everything in between. An example given of Allah's knowledge is the tale of a general in the army of Abdullah ibn Ziyad. In 61H, this general had a fall and broke both his legs. A friend who visited him said there is good in it. The general, bemused,  wondered what good could there be in two broken legs. Three days later when he was instructed to lead the battle against Hasan r.a. he refused on the ground of his broken legs. Later he received the news of the slaughter of Hasan r.a. It was Allah's knowledge that saved him from complicity of that tragic day. He was saved from the dunya and in the Akhira. Don't you think then we ought remind ourselves and teach our children to submit Al- Aleem's plan and to never question the Creator of all creations?
