Israeli officials are now openly admitting that they're working on "encouraging" the migration of Palestinians from Gaza, ridiculously claiming that this migration would be "voluntary" despite their having deliberately made the enclave uninhabitable over the last three months. South Africa has invoked the Genocide Convention, formally launching a case at the UN's international court of justice accusing Israel of genocide for its mass atrocities in the Gaza Strip. Israel immediately responded by (deep sigh) accusing South Africa of "blood libel". Reading by Tim Foley.

We could have been so much more. We have the ability to create a healthy and harmonious world and collaborate to give everyone on earth everything they need, and instead we're killing the biosphere while arguing about whether or not it's anti-semitic to oppose an active genocide. A Washington Post investigative report into Israel's attack on al-Shifa Hospital has found that "the evidence presented by the Israeli government falls short of showing that Hamas had been using the hospital as a command and control center." The Post reports it came to this conclusion after "analysis of open-source visuals, satellite imagery and all of the publicly released IDF materials." At this point the default assumption of any thinking person should be that all claims made by Israel are lies until proven otherwise by mountains of rock-solid evidence. Reading by Tim Foley.

"I'm not so sure about the Child-Killing Murder Robot," Joe said after a sip of coffee while reading the morning paper. "What??" his wife Anne exclaimed, visibly shocked. What we are seeing with Gaza is manufactured narrative splatting against reality over and over again. The western empire churns out propaganda narratives about what Israel is doing, and those narratives are crashing headlong into raw video footage and concrete facts in ways you don't often see. CNN's Clarissa Ward and her crew became the first western journalists to enter Gaza independent from Israeli forces since October 7, briefly visiting a 150-bed hospital that was recently constructed in a soccer stadium by the United Arab Emirates in the southern part of the enclave before leaving to report on the footage from Abu Dhabi.
