Just as our faith is to be lived out in community, raising children should also be done in community. Everyone participates in starting children off in the way they should go. This takes intention, time and effort. When a new family walks into a church community, if their children are loved, seen and taught well, that speaks volumes. Many times, in the Old Testament the community of God is encouraged to tell the generation behind them of what God has done to establish their faith. Prioritizing the spiritual health of our children is an important piece to practicing wisdom in raising children. Speaker:  Amy Stevenson

Friendships can promote wisdom, or they can promote folly. Wisdom infused friendships will often mean saying the hard thing. True friends will speak the truth even when it hurts. This kind of friendship will sharpen and advance us in our pursuit of God. Friendships like these can be found in both the Old and New Testament. These are the kinds of friendships we should invest into as a practice of wisdom. Speaker:  David Baker

We see instructions in this passage for the ears, eyes, heart, mouth, mind and feet. When we submit our entire person—mind, soul and body it results in good spiritual health. Have we considered how we can use our body to practice wisdom?
