Hey it's a pre-CC song that actually sounds like a Blink-182 song! And it was written by someone you might not expect! There are some issues with the structure of the song, but overall I really liked it a lot!

We talk about how the lyrics are very good but we wish they'd taken a side about the tempo of the song, rather than going for the middle of the road. Also, please forgive the quality of my audio. We talk about how Matt kills it on this song and the 3-song mix that the band seem to be pushing us towards! I feel a little bad because in editing, I cut this one way down. I need you to know that it's not because Katelynn didn't have a lot to say. It was a great conversation that edited down to either too short or too long. It's weird to hear this episode now because, at the time, I hadn't listened to more than this song and Adrenaline by the band, but now I believe I've heard it all. So you're going to hear an earlier version of me, who didn't know the other songs!

It's another cover song and this time it's of a song I am very familiar with! It honestly feels like Blink should have recorded more Descendents covers in their times. But, as I say in the episode, there may yet be one that we haven't featured yet. This is a good cover and I'll be listening to it a lot from now on!

CW: Gun Violence Today, I'm joined by Elizabeth (@thelovliestliz) from Your Fave is Problematic and FMK All Day to talk about this song that is supposed to be about a mass shooting, but doesn't really talk about it or make a statement in any meaningful way. It was a FANTASTIC discussion and I think I did a fairly decent job of getting the best parts. The only part I had to cut that I think might result in an interesting discussion is this question: How could you make this song more clearly about what it's about without being exploitative of the victims?

It's time for another cover song! This is one I hadn't heard either version of before! Where are my Dinosaur Jr. fans? Recommend me some albums to get to know them. I know and love "Feel the Pain" and I enjoyed this song quite a bit!
