Blink And You'll Miss It

It's another Simple Creatures song and I have Leon (remember him from Season 1?) on to talk about how there are parts of this song that are good and then there are parts that....remind us of more enjoyable songs/albums.

In this episode, I'm talking about the first song written for the Simple Creatures project, which was also the first single released, and is the song that the band feels is most indicative of their sound (Which they also feel is a big middle finger to people's expectations). Find out what my favorite parts of the song are and what 2008 single parts of it remind me of!

@david_parke from @jimmyeatpod joins me once again and this time we're talking about the song with the youthful music video, the song that MIGHT be about a certain Geena Davis-adjacent character. As you can tell it was a blast you won't have to wait to wait to wait to wait to wait for it.

It's a momentous day on this fine Tuesday. First, the revelation that we're skipping the letter C entirely has surely thrown some of you for quite a bit of a loop. Second, we have our first cover! The first song by Blink-182 this season is from the very first demo they made back in 1993. And ONLY from that demo. I talk about an unexpected influence and how I don't believe the lyrics that Genius has posted. Also, why this song surprised me.

In this first episode about actual music, I am joined by My Friend David, From the Internet to talk about a Simple Creatures song that I am told is vastly different from the rest of the EP, but as of the writing of this description, I still haven't heard anything else.
