113 I Can Do Better, I Will Do Better
05/06/2020 Duração: 22minI’ll start with something that I saw Netflix post about… To be silent is to be complicit. Black lives matter. We have a platform, and we have a duty to our Black members, employees, creators and talent to speak up. I’ve not been overly vocal, for fear of getting it wrong,⠀ But I also don’t want to stay silent.⠀ I’m sure many of you can echo that sentiment. It’s not often that I think about my own privilege as a white woman, but then again my daily life protects me from the daily fears that others live with.⠀ To be here… to be comfortable… to be podcasting… that is a privilege. To be here… to be comfortable… to have a platform… that is a privilege. To be here, to be comfortable, to feel safe… that is a privilege. But it shouldn’t just be a privilege that some can tap into. It should be for all. Equity in opportunity to create, to live and to express is deserved by all. I want to meet my vision of helping 7 billion people to live and lead their most visionary life, but we cannot do that without equality I

18/05/2020TODAY’S VISIONARY GUEST IS CHRIS GUILLEMET. CHRIS CO-FOUNDED VELOFIX, YOUR LOCAL BIKE SHOP… ON WHEELS! I'm willing to bet that you’ve seen their trucks driving around your neighbourhood to service your community members, or fixing bikes at a local race weekend. And it’s such a fun experience to talk to & learn from your mechanic while they work on your bike outside of your home. Chris is SO generous with his knowledge about starting and scaling a business inside this episode, and it was a true pleasure to hear the story behind the brand. He is a true visionary. 109 Truth Talk - How My Business Has Been Impacted by COVID-19
11/05/2020What a crazy past couple of months it has been. After reflecting on my own experiences, I've realized that the highs & lows are not always things we can choose: we can simply embrace the change, move forward with joy and continue to focus on the life we are here to live (aka our most visionary life!) This is what I have chosen amidst the chaos. Has it been easy? No! But I’m choosing to show up as a leader, an encourager & a hugger (I don't even know if those are real words, and I don't care). In this episode, I am sharing an update on what I've been up to over the past few months. My hopes are that you'll find comfort and inspiration in my process of navigating this unsettling time, or simply feel less alone. In this episode I chat about... 106 It's Never Too Late to Chase Your Dreams with Country Music Artist Alli Walker
21/04/2020As I write you this intro, I am listening to the most beautiful song called “Little Things” by today’s Visionary Guest, Alli Walker. I’m in a complete love-fest with her music right now.
