Tim started doing stand up just a little bit before covid happened and he’s 19. I was 22 when I started so I understand how being the youngest can be . He’s got a really good attitude and we have a really good talk about comedy, some really good comedy nerd stuff .

Although he has been performing stand up since 2002, Mike Sgroi has always been a comedian at heart. Ever since his dad made him a tape of the Three Stooges at age 3 (ironically), Mike has been hooked! As a kid, not only did he watch comedy greats like Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, the Marx Brothers, and even the Warner Bros.'s classic cartoons, he studied them and tried to perform as good as they were. At age 9, he took his tape recorder and started to record himself, making up his own shows and voices. Unbeknownst to him, these early years of recording himself, helped him develope his comedy and a talent for improv and acting. And ironically enough, he had bad stage fright. Still, when he had his tape reorder, he was natural performer. In middle school, Mike had his first chance to show his peers how funny he was through drama class. Being funny even helped him made friends and gain confidence. By junior year of high school, Mike entered a talent show with his best friend Travis Rowe and performed

Emma Cohen is a transgender comedian, they are super talented and we had a great discussion on how they starting performing comedy at as a child and then again at college, doing zoom mics. We talk a bit about politics too. A very great conversation!

Steve is a 30 year old substitute teacher by day and stand up comedian by night. He was born with Muscular Dystrophy and is an advocate for disability awareness. Steve performs stand up in the NJ/NY area, motivational speeches around the country, and is the co-creator and star of the web series Uplifting Dystrophy. He can be seen in the Hulu show Ramy. Steve has been performing stand up for over 8 years with his first set at the Comedy Charity Explosion in his hometown of Rutherford, NJ. He has performed at the 2011 Bamboozle music festival and was the co-host of The Lockdown, a monthly stand up show at the People's Improv Theatre in New York City. Since the early age of 10, Steve has been public speaking, most notably with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He has spoken at major events and fundraisers and now does motivational speaking on overcoming adversity

Gianmarco Soresi is a stand up comic, actor and writer but the first line of his obituary will probably say “guy from all those General Electric commercials.” With a BFA in musical theater and a PHD in imagination, he made his television debut on CBS’ Blue Bloods playing Tom Selleck’s waiter, a role he prepared for by actually becoming a waiter for twelve years. Now a nationally touring stand up comedian, Gianmarco is waiting for Jeff Goldblum to get in some kind of trouble so he can portray him on Lifetime. Gianmarco’s stand up has been featured on Netflix’s Bonding, PBS’ Stories from the Stage, SeeSo’s New York’s Funniest, Real Housewives of New York, NY1, New York LIVE, Vanity Fair, George Takei presents and he was the winner of Amazon’s Comics Watching Comics Season 8. 1st Place at the Laughing Devil Comedy Festival, Devil’s Cup Comedy Festival, Empire State Comedy Festival, and Last Comix Standing at Mohegan Sun, he regularly headlines clubs, colleges and sordid basements around the country.

Reggie Parker is a phenomenal comic and we geeked out a lot over comedy in this episode . Couple technical issues but overall a really great episode
