What The Heck With Richard Dweck

Although he has been performing stand up since 2002, Mike Sgroi has always been a comedian at heart. Ever since his dad made him a tape of the Three Stooges at age 3 (ironically), Mike has been hooked! As a kid, not only did he watch comedy greats like Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, the Marx Brothers, and even the Warner Bros.'s classic cartoons, he studied them and tried to perform as good as they were. At age 9, he took his tape recorder and started to record himself, making up his own shows and voices. Unbeknownst to him, these early years of recording himself, helped him develope his comedy and a talent for improv and acting. And ironically enough, he had bad stage fright. Still, when he had his tape reorder, he was natural performer. In middle school, Mike had his first chance to show his peers how funny he was through drama class. Steve is a 30 year old substitute teacher by day and stand up comedian by night. He was born with Muscular Dystrophy and is an advocate for disability awareness. Steve performs stand up in the NJ/NY area, motivational speeches around the country, and is the co-creator and star of the web series Uplifting Dystrophy. He can be seen in the Hulu show Ramy. Steve has been performing stand up for over 8 years with his first set at the Comedy Charity Explosion in his hometown of Rutherford, NJ. He has performed at the 2011 Bamboozle music festival and was the co-host of The Lockdown, a monthly stand up show at the People's Improv Theatre in New York City. Since the early age of 10, Steve has been public speaking, most notably with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He has spoken at major events and fundraisers and now does motivational speaking on overcoming adversity

Now a nationally touring stand up comedian, Gianmarco is waiting for Jeff Goldblum to get in some kind of trouble so he can portray him on Lifetime. Gianmarco’s stand up has been featured on Netflix’s Bonding, PBS’ Stories from the Stage, SeeSo’s New York’s Funniest, Real Housewives of New York, NY1, New York LIVE, Vanity Fair, George Takei presents and he was the winner of Amazon’s Comics Watching Comics Season 8. 1st Place at the Laughing Devil Comedy Festival, Devil’s Cup Comedy Festival, Empire State Comedy Festival, and Last Comix Standing at Mohegan Sun, he regularly headlines clubs, colleges and sordid basements around the country.

Ken Krantz has been funny his whole life. He had to be to get any attention growing up the youngest of eight kids in a real-life Brady Bunch situation. He started doing stand up in 2009 and quickly became a fixture on the Tri-State comedy scene, where he gained a reputation as a no holds barred joke writer. His laid back style combines self-deprecating humor, his views on fatherhood, and his take on pop culture and current events. Ken has performed at all of the major clubs in the Tri-State area, including Gotham, The Stand, Stress Factory, and The Comedy Cellar. He can be seen every month on his own show, Underground Comedy, at Gotham comedy club and has been featured on Rawdog Comedy on Sirius XM Radio. He released his debut stand up album, No Punchline Required, in 2016, and is the co-host of the podcast Why Bother? With Ritu and Ken. He has been seen on The Anthony Cumia Show, and jokes he’s written have appeared on Comedy Central and NBC. He has also performed for the New York Comedy Festival.
