One of greatest miracles of Christ was His healing of the deaf and mute. This is a prophetic view because many in today’s church are deaf and have an impediment in speech. The Lord wants us to be fruitful and advance in life. When we advance we also help those around us to advance. He often responds to our prayers with a word in seed form. Once that word is received into the soil of our hearts it produces fruit. But watch out! When we allow the cares of life to consume us we become all choked up, and unfruitful. The cross represents God's willingness to forgive us. We must be willing to forgive those who have hurt or offended us and trust God will handle it. When we fail to forgive from our hearts we release tormentors into our lives. Instead of embracing unforgiveness choose instead to release it and embrace freedom.
