Do you like me? It is our nature to need the approval of others. But what happens when we become desperate and starved for that approval? We'll seek for it in the wrong places, then find ourselves trapped in a miserable life of insecurity. That's not the life you were meant to live. Remember, we were created by love, in love to give love and be loved by others. Only our Heavenly Father can truly fulfill our need of love and acceptance. The world is looking for a savior, and they're searching for hope and peace in all the wrong places. The answer is coming. There is a fresh move of God on the horizon. A Shepherd always cares for His sheep. He watches over them, provides for them, and protects them from harm. However, a "Good Shepherd" does the same and so much more. Psalm 23 is one of the most endearing scriptures in the entire Bible. In it Father promises He will always provide, guide, and protect us as well as direct us to greener pastures. We never have to worry or be without. Even through death itself we will not have to fear because He is with us. He is so amazing and kind that He has also allowed His Son, Jesus Christ, to be our chief shepherd. I am looking forward to diving into this wonderful passage of scripture with you. Wars are fought over it. Fortunes are spent to obtain it. Men try desperately to steal it. What is it? It's satisfaction. Why are people giving their lives for something Father freely bestows on those who believe? True satisfaction, peace, and contentment come from God alone. He promises, "You shall be satisfied".
