Sounder At Heart: For Seattle Sounders And Reign Fc Fans

We tried something a little different this week, heading over to the ShoWare Center in Kent to do a live show before the Tacoma Stars game. Unfortunately, we were a bit harder to find that normal, but there were still about 20 or so people who made it over. In any case, we were treated to a pretty spectacular match that featured lots of loud music, dancing mascots and scoring.  The Stars won, too, on a Mike Ramos goal with less than 2 seconds remaining on the clock. The show consisted of Stars VP of Business Development John Crouch. He gave us some of the history behind the reborn Stars and some of their plans for the future. We also discussed the Obafemi Martins transfer, the new kits and the reaction to the new announcer hirings. We closed out the show by taking a few questions from the crowd. Richard Farley joins Jeremiah and Aaron to discuss the current USWNT legal battle as well as talking about a new segment idea. The guys also answer your questions as read by their engineer who sounded like he may have been wearing the Olympic White jersey the whole segment. Timely topics such as new Sounders broadcast announcers, new kit release, and Nos Audietis Night At The Tacoma Stars are given thoughtful, insightful answers as always.

Aaron and Jeremiah start the show by giving a quick state of the opening of training camp. Jeremiah grills Sounders General Manager and President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey in an in-depth interview regarding several subjects including this unknown player named Jordan Morris. The guys also answer your questions as read by their engineer who ran the beep test during the entire recording.

In this pre-season episode, Jeremiah and Aaron start off 2016 talking about pretty much where they left off 2015: the ongoing Jordan Morris adventure. He has officially gone professional but where will he end up starting his promising career? The guys give their thoughts about whether or not you should get that custom Morris jersey in Rave Green (Sounders) or in Mint Green (Werder Bremen). The guys also answer your questions as well as welcome in a rakishly handsome new producer.

In this offseason edition of Nos Audietis, Jeremiah sits down with Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid to discuss a variety of topics including the just completed season, his vision going forward for the team, Brad Evans and Cristian Roldan's rolls and much more. It's a shorter than normal episode and just features the interview, but we think you'll enjoy it none the less.

The offseason has begun for the Seattle Sounders and we're back to discuss the latest news coming out of the Annual Business Meetings. There's a new (sort of) majority owner, no change at the head coach position, along with several other tidbits that are worth of discussion. Jeremiah and Aaron spend some time discussing all the news and offering their thoughts. There's also listener questions to be answered, so we did that too.

The Sounders fell on penalties against FC Dallas in the Conference semifinals, and we're back to talk about the match. Ginge shares a few thoughts since he was in attendance, while Aaron and Jeremiah discuss the result and offer some general feelings about the season overall. We also spend a few minutes discussing the future of the Sounders, specifically the possible changes that the team could make and whether or not Sigi Schmid might return to coach the team next year.

Nos Audietis is back to prepare you for Sunday's second leg Conference semifinal match against FC Dallas. We look back at the Sounders 2-1 win in the first leg, discuss lineup possibilities, injuries and other important details, and dream a little about another possible trip to the Conference final. We also answer a ton of listener questions and find out if Dallas-based engineer Ginge is going to the match in Frisco.

The Seattle Sounders did it. They beat the LA Galaxy in the playoffs. Yes! Jeremiah and Aaron are back to break down the victory, assess the injury aftermath and look ahead to the Conference Semifinals. We also review the legendary event that was YachtCon, along with answering listener questions.

As part of YachtConXV, Jeremiah was able to record an interview with Seattle Sounders star Brad Evans. The discussion was wide ranging including topics involving Evans' career, the Sounders, the US National Team and more. There's also discussion of Seattle food, why you should live on the East Side, and a quick fire question and answer session. It was such a good discussion that we figured it was deserving on being a stand alone episode ... so here you go!
