HighStreet Worship Center is a church in Burlington, New Jersey Christians have  a terrible tendency to water down the Gospel.  We lay claim to verses like these: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.”   But when we take a closer look at the demands of the Gospel, we come to see that it’s really not that simple.  The Sermon on the Mount challenges us to become “Red Letter Christians” who embrace every Word that Jesus spoke. Today’s message focuses on the words of Jesus as He raises the bar by requiring us to see that our righteousness must exceed the righteousness of the most scrupulous religious leaders of the day…otherwise, there is no hope of entering into the Kingdom of heaven.
