Scream Queens "horror Movie Road Trip" Podcast

On this horror road trip we head to the Mecca of the Southwest, SANTA FE NEW MEXICO to explore the immersive art experience known as MEOW WOLF. Along the way we talk about the 2019 Netflix art world horror film VELVET BUZZSAW ! 

Disney movies are often ones first experience with horror and we know it instilled a love for all things spooky with us. So, we head to the West Coast to soak up all the dark things Disney has to offer! Along the way we discuss the 1985 Disney box office bomb The Black Cauldron.  Is it the scariest animated movie ever? Come cruise with us and listen to what we think! 

Our annual CABIN IN THE WOODS trip is always one of our favorites! We drove deep down into SE OK to stay in isolation amongst mountains and hot tubs.  Along the way we discuss the 2009 Ti West directed sequel to Cabin Fever;  CABIN FEVER 2: SPRING FEVER.   Join us for our adventure! 

We have a spooky night stay at the famously haunted CRESCENT HOTEL in EUREKA SPRINGS ARKANSAS! Along the way we discuss the 2007  film adaption of the Stephen King short story 1408!  Will we experience a ghost in what is claimed to be THE MOST HAUNTED HOTEL IN AMERICA?!?! We stay on the road to Salem for this part 2 of our Witchy Massachusetts experience!  Come hear us talk about this 2015 horror classic while we drive to the Witch City!

Take the loooong journey with us to Salem Massachusetts where we dive into all things witchy and Hocus Pocus!  We go to all the filming locations and more! Along the way we discuss this 90's Halloween  classic! Hop in and ride along! 

We head to BARTLESVILLE OKLAHOMA to stay the night in the Historic Price Tower.  It is Frank Lloyd Wright's only realized Skyscraper. Along the way we pick up Tangina and discuss the 3rd installment of the POLTERGEIST series!  Join us on the road!

We finally did it!  We accomplished something we've always wanted to do on this podcast and that is visit 261 Turner Lane and all the Scream filming location sights!!!  Jump in the car and head with us to Northern California, along the way, we will discuss the iconic 90's Wes Craven slasher Scream! 

We trek deep into the Earth to bring you episode 78!   We had a lot of fun discussing The Descent 2 on our way to Carlsbad Caverns National Park!  Come hear all about our descent into this Majestic and Mind-blowing cave system in Southern New Mexico!  Hop on in and join us on the road! 

We make the drive through the hot New Mexico sun to visit Roswell! Home to the most iconic UFO crash and delicious Mexican food!  Join us on the road as we head to this kitschy alien themed town and discuss the 1986 Action/Horror classic ALIENS ! Maybe we'll see a Xenomorph or two!  But one thing is for sure; James Cameron knows how to make a crowd pleaser!

It's our favorite time of year:  TEXAS FRIGHTMARE WEEKEND!  Join us as we venture to Dallas for this amazing Horror movie convention!  We will meet Neve Campbell,  Devon Sawa, Jamie Kennedy and more!  Come have fun with us! 

Jump in the car and take a ride with us to Hot Springs Arkansas to check out Josephine Tussaud Wax Museum!  Along the way we rant about the 2005 Paris Hilton horror flick HOUSE OF WAX!

We head to the high desert of Nevada to play with large Excavators and make a mess of the dirt!  Along the way we discuss Stephen Kings 1986 foray into directing MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE.  Will we cause as much havoc on the road as the unwieldy machines of this cult classic?  Join us and find out!

Come lock yourself away with us in a secluded cabin in the woods. Will we make it out alive before contracting a deadly flesh eating virus?!  Most likely yes, we'll be fine, but along the way we discuss Eli Roth's 2002 flick Cabin Fever! 

We head to Oklahoma's second biggest city Tulsa to honor Oklahoma's number one horror icon Heather Langenkamp!  We visit her "circle" on the walk of fame and seek out her old stomping grounds like her high school. We soak up all the Heather vibes to discuss 1994's Wes Craven's New Nightmare! One, Two, Freddy might be coming for you! 

What's This? What's This?  We're heading to Disney World for a very special Christmas episode!   We love mixing the Holidays with all things spooky and no better movie to cover on our journey than Tim Burton's ( actually Henry Selicks) The Nightmare Before Christmas.  Maybe we'll find Jack and Sandy Claws roaming the Magic Kingdom!

We take our sound booth on the road for a beautifully authentic autumn drive in South East Oklahoma. Along the way we pick up a hitchhiker, named Tommy,  and talk about the 1986 horror flick  The Hitcher.   Let's hope we survive to record another episode! 

We drive to Annabelle Fun Farms in the Northeast Corner of Oklahoma to be a couple of Outlanders!   As we head to Corn mazes,  a haunted house, skydivers and more we discuss the 1984, Stephen King adaption of Children of the Corn!  Will "He Who Walks Behind the Rows" get us when we arrive?   Tune in and find out!
