We're back with a second microphone with (hopefully) our best sounding podcast yet. To kick off the New Year, the Sour Mash Tours team is back sans guest. The Sour Mash Tours team is on location at the Bonnycastle Club in the Highlands to talk with Liquor World’s Chad Clifton about picking barrels for his stores, how the Bourbon Boom has impacted the retail environment, and whether or not allocated bourbon is priced too low. We had a great discussion and you should probably check it out!

Dillon and Andy are joined by Matt Guyer and Jason Ridenour from the Central Ky Spirits Society to talk about their growing group of spirits enthusiasts and the industry as a whole while tasting all sorts of good things out of brand new Neat glassware. We sip on Pendleton 1910 Rye, OKI 12 Year Single Barrel Bourbon, Smooth Ambler Old Scout 7yr Rye, Auchentoshan Single Malt Scotch, and Peerless Triple Oaked Rye. The Lost Episode - Andy and friend of the 'cast, Quincy, tried to recreate a sought-after Maker's Mark expression to mixed results (at best). For some reason, there is a recording of them revealing said results in July. Here it is!

We are back after a three-week hiatus! We finally get to try our Maker's Mark Private Selection (available at Red Castle Liquors and Waterfront Wine and Whiskey). While sipping on that, we chat about Danielle's experience at Star Hill Provisions, our favorite Halloween costumes and candy, and a friend of a friend's meet up with Mario Lopez. Andy gets proven wrong about a bourbon fact and it's our longest podcast yet!
