Bethany's parents casually dropped that they bought a house and they're moving into in 24 hours. During holiday break!  Before that, the car vandalism rampage has finally ended.  Buying 90s retro stuff and the Pandora's Boxes that can be opened. 

About the best news possible at this moment for Hamlin and Renner.  What's most important to you, aside from price, when it comes to a new vehicle? I am SO bad at receiving stuff. Please just don't. Tell me you thought of me, don't buy it! And again, the Fed is not fighting the inflation fight well enough. 

I was featured, with good friends, in the City Paper's Big Ideas 2023 piece.  Alex is happy the holidays are gone and we can return to normal. The NFL tragedy last night.  What we watched, and didn't, over the break.  Cutting Republic services, little time to self nominate for council, just 2000 participants.  Alex and Thomas are back on the house hunt. 

The guy from The Office did it! I was totally proven wrong, and now he's my guy. I can't find anyone talking about this massively successful project.  I needed some social courage this morning at Panera.  A little bit of victim blaming, which I know often doesn't go over well. I think the F word is a slur. Or slur-y. Or slur-ish. 

It certainly wasn't a vacation, but I'll save some of that for later this week. Just 2,000 people chimed in?! I'm not surprised. A goodbye to the husband of someone who was the first to help me make this my home.  Merry Christmas! It's dog license season so thanks to Cassie from LC4 for visiting to share why it's so important for them and us to get them!

If I had to make one generalization to save my life and have it be ALMOST correct, it's this one.  First, the breathing just doesn't work for me.  Taylor's top songs. That horn behavior was uncalled for.

Alex and I got to meet Ry'Lee Davis when we hosted the BCAN Does Toledo Have Talent show last month.  The answer was an emphatic and performative YES. The most talent that night may have belong to the intermission guest, Talkie Talkerson! Before we visit with Ry'Lee, a mysterious tragedy at the World Cup on Friday night, and the ODOT snow plow name winners have been revealed. 

OK, so that's gonna be at the end of this episode, but the title needed to be there because of the absurdity of the topic! First... Where are we with Christmas music? What's Madi getting for Christmas? Actually what ISN'T she getting. And why can't Bethany sit there!? My niece likes ducks. Four day work weeks. Bizarre food combinations.  Dirty sodas, which may have come from Tik Tok, and root beer floats most certainly didn't but they think it did!

Frequent guest, and my good friend, Dr. Andrea Mata is back to talk about her upcoming off campus dating class at Juniper Brewing in BG. That'll make sense when you listen. Even better, I get to drop my you can't run from your DNA line often here.  First up, I'm glad she's back, but the swap may get a lot of people killed. Wut?

It's been some years since Joe Linnenkugel had visited. But he has a big showdown with his Assistant GM and fellow TFRD member Kyle Getzinger on the ice this Sunday against the TPD hockey team. Hopefully you can make it to the Huntington Center to support them supporting their charities.  We talk a lot about the game, and some helpful TFD community info, but I'm so delighted Joe and Kyle took the conversation towards mental health. 

I'm so glad she has enjoyed this 2020s renaissance. TARTA probably didn't take my advice, but they did something anyway, which shows my guidance wasn't far off. You can get your Sheetz, I'll be grabbing pretzels and Shorti's. Another important reason I need to get home. Sleazeballs and local pizza. This will be for all failed meditators and anti-list people. I'm here to help. The four day work week.   

The best things we watched this year, so yes, some spoilers.  Before that, take the Toledo Police Chief survey. I even put it right there for you. August 17 may become quite a recognized day in Ohio. Cookies and Kranz! Ohio State and Michigan in the playoff. UT and BG headed to bowls.  What we enjoyed watching this year. 

Alona Matchenko is back for a third visit. THU has a cookie event this Saturday, and she has some BIG personal news I wanted to make sure she shared. First, a bit back to yesterday because of a short sighted Reddit comment. 

What I'm going to talk to my therapist about next week. My 2014 LASIK surgery. I was THE ONE. And I'd do it all over again! Inclusive playground number two in Wood County is open to the public! Sheetz is coming to Toledo. Who do I decide who and what to help? Good question. I review it regularly.  The Transformative 20s. 

The Waterville Amphitheater project has been approved. The end is not nigh! You may not even have to move. You may even be pleasantly surprised. Time for YOU to dig into Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, a Holocaust (it happened) survivor. I truly envy the people who can globe trot and just teach English in a given country. I may have stumbled across my 'I can teach English' venture.

DJ URB rocked the TSA dance! What our Thanksgivings look like. So... LOTS of food discussion. Including a cookie conundrum, 'the candy corn' of Thanksgiving and several recipes.  Eye for others - just eyes - within a relationship.  

Friends-anything is fine, and don't let me or anyone else tell you otherwise.  I've seen it everywhere, and so have you, but I wasn't going to waste my time asking anyone but Mary Bilyeu about this Thanksgiving staple.
