Someone make a video game - this will be the theme music :) I wrote this one in April 2018, just improvised it with my ditto looper. It came to life with some drums! I like the moment it breaks down and gets a bit symphonic, but i'm not crazy about it kicking back in so abruptly. I probably won't keep it like that! What a strange psychedelic folk song! I tried to stay close to the original recording of it from 2009 with the vox effect. It was great bringing it to life with more instruments. Another oldie - love the title, it fits the music well. It's in 10/4 - sort of doesn't feel like it though. This is one of my favorite basslines I've written! Another super oldie, circa 2010. It all started with a phone recording at the piano rooms at UMass Amherst. I had this weird vocal idea ("slipping the venom inside the rose...etc") that never made too much sense. But reviving it with some more arrangement, and slightly altering the lyrics totally brought it to life! Needs to head somewhere though. Such an old song! Man, Champagne Dizza dates back to sophomore year in college, so around 2010. I've always liked this one and it was awesome to revive it. I think it works just fine with no drums - not even percussion I don't think. Still trying to work out the words, but there's some potential here!
