15/03/2019 Duração: 38minOn today’s show, Bob covers two types of court actions affecting trust planning. The “Heggstad” petition under Probate Code Section 850 may be used to gather in property owned by someone at death to turn it over to their trust without going through the entire Probate court process. A trust modification petition under Probate Code Section 15403 permits the modification or even termination of an irrevocable (unchangeable) trust through the court. Bob handles both types of petitions for the clients of attorneys throughout the State of California. 02/11/2018 Duração: 38min“Bob talks about the A-B Marital Trust, a common form of living trust planning back in the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s, and why it is likely outdated or even dangerous for most families today because of possible increased taxes and costs that could have been completely avoided with different planning. He also talks about how better planning approach for most families today, and how it is possible to “fix” an old A-B Marital Trust after the first spouse dies. If you and your spouse have one of these types of trusts, it’s time to get it reviewed right away to get it repaired before your family suffers.” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
