Sinopse
This is an interview-style podcast with guests you've heard of (or have not heard of but you'll want to get to know). I'm a big fan of getting past "surface-y" talk, hence the name "What Else?". If I have a musician on the show and their #1 source of income is playing music, I'm going to be finding out What Else they like to do, what their hobbies are, What Else inspires them and encourages them. The goal for this podcast is to make it feel like a couple friends getting together, having a great conversation and going a little deeper than surface level. Subscribe today!

42: Ken Mansfield
28/01/2019 Duração: 45minKen Mansfield – January 30th, 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the last time the Beatles would ever play together in a ‘live’ setting. It was on a rooftop of their record label, 40+ minutes, and audio that would eventually be used for the album, “Let It Be”. There were only a few ‘employees’ on the roof that day, and if you google photos, you’ll see a man with a white coat. Ken Mansfield worked for Apple Records and was there that day.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

41: Plumb
21/01/2019 Duração: 35minIn September of 2014, I was at a conference that Plumb performed at. She knocked me over, I already knew she could sing, but her story is what struck me as powerful. Fast forward to a radio tour in May of 2015, and I had the privilege of interviewing her on our morning show. The other female voice you will hear is my co-host, Melanie. So into the archives we go Tiffany Lee, a.k.a. Plumb.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

40: Kevin Matthews
14/01/2019 Duração: 52minKevin Matthews is the reason why I’m doing what I’m (still) doing in radio broadcasting. His time at WLUP in Chicago is legendary to “Kev-Heads” around the Midwest and beyond. It wasn’t just Kevin either - it was also sports announcer “Jim Shorts”, Darnell, Devon, Ronald Reagan, Elvis, Pee Wee Herman, and a cast of others, all flowing out of the mouth and brain of Kevin. Kevin has written a book called “Broken Mary” that has given him a much different perspective on life. Pardon me while I geek out talking to my hero, Kevin Matthews.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

31: Chonda Pierce
22/10/2018 Duração: 28minThere are people who are naturally funny, and there are people that need to work at it. The cartoonish southern style of speaking leads me to believe that Chonda is naturally funny. Almost like a cartoon voiceover actor, Chonda is the ‘Queen of Clean” comedian, with 10 comedy albums, multiple books, tv specials, and quite a story. From her start as a Minnie Pearl impersonator at Opryland, to audiences of thousands listening to funny stories about being born in a cab, her mom’s wig, misplacing her husband’s body,….(really.)Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
