Up next on What Came First, we've got an inviting, driving release from Anderson Noise & Sugar Hill whose sound we have championed at the club for the last 15 Years. D Edge resident and Brazilian Electronic Music Legend Anderson Noise has teamed up with the latest emerging artist to come from South America - Sugar Hill - to release their debut WCF three track release. 'Voodoo' kicks off with well rounded, hypnotic drums which steadily roll into tribal-tinged percussion, which blend with an indecipherable, trippy vocal before developing into a cacophony of analogue layers - an instant injection of energy ignites to set any dance floor alight.

Tobi Neumann has become a solid fixture of our Egg LDN family and WCF imprint. It’s only fitting to welcome the German producer and stalwart of Berlin’s electronic scene back to North London for our monumental birthday celebration on May 5th and ahead of the show, Neumann has delivered a captivating mix packed to the gills with scintillating grooves and punchy drums.

Mute Records founder Daniel Miller returns to the club as part of our monumental 15th birthday celebrations on May 5th. A legend in his own right, Miller will be joined by NovaMute affiliates Terence Fixmer and Nicolas Bougaïeff to mark 20 years of the imprint. Ahead of the show, Miller has created a solid mix for us, packed with powerful drums and unpredictable, off-kilter melodies, using a blend of older and contemporary cuts from the last decade.

As one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, Christian Smith remains a regular booking here at Egg LDN with his sound of driving, electronic creations taking him to the forefront of the global dance music industry. Ahead of his return to Familia, Smith has delivered a pummelling mix of rumbling techno rhythms, packed with gnarly grooves and crunchy percussion, all of which make up the unmistakable sound of the Tronic head honcho.

Gunjah is a long-running electronic producer and selector who’s been on the German electronic scene since 1994, churning out a myriad of house, techno and electronic fuzz. Berlin has played a major part throughout Gunjah’s career and these days, you can find him playing at his own festival - the infamous Click Clack gathering in Dresden. Gunjah makes his Egg LDN debut this year and ahead of the show, he’s shared a buzzing mix of new, old and groove-laden sounds which touch on his Berlin influences, as well as a flavour of what one can expect at his annual Click Clack event.

‘The art of being relevant is to forget what you know.’ Not necessarily a sentiment which all artists would agree with, but in the case of German producer Thomas Schumacher, it’s something he’s lived by over the last decade and judging by his considerable discography, it’s seemed to work. With releases on Noir Music, Pets Recordings and his own imprint Electric Ballroom, Schumacher’s profile has grown phenomenally in the last few years. Sharing his billings with the likes of ANNA, Pan-Pot and Christian Smith, the discernible selector delivers his first Egg LDN podcast ahead of his return to Egg LDN with Wehbba on 31st March. Blended with punchy drums and resolute rhythm, it’s a glimpse inside the sonic mind of an artist who still burns with curiosity to create and make his own relentless sound…

Described as ‘a musician, pioneer, sound designer, steady force, rebel, icon, an outsider and a great live artist’, Cisco Ferreira is the man behind The Advent - a globally celebrated, long-running producer and selector this side of the electronic realm. Working as a duo with Mr.G in 1990 under ‘The Advent’ alias, the pair cultivated a sound which marked a new wave of high-quality electro and techno sounds, before amicably parting ways in 1999. Since then, The Advent has gone on to release on an array of imprints like Dystopian, Naked Lunch and Tronic to name a few. The Advent returns on Saturday 24th with Ramiro Lopez and OC & Verde. To mark the occasion, the Portuguese native has created a 60-minute blend of pummelling drums with lashings of electrifying percussion throughout - a taste of what’s on his current sonic radar.

Long-running FCKNG Serious affiliate Deniz Bul shares a diverse mix with us ahead of his return to Egg LDN. Since meeting FCKNG Serious label boss Boris Brejcha several years ago, Bul has been part of upward trajectory which has seen him tour the globe alongside fellow artists from the imprint, including Ann Clue and Brejcha himself. With a sound that's crafted to fit the sonic ethos of the label, Bul is set to remain a regular fixture in the High Tech Minimal scene and is undoubtedly one to watch this year...

Fabio Neural has made a serious impression on the electronic soundscape since buying his first set of turntables at the tender age of 17. Fully committing himself to crafting his own versatile sound at such a young age, the Italian producer has gone on to release on Ovum Records, Truesoul and Silver M. Neural is undoubtedly continuing to grow thanks to a slew of international shows from Ibiza to Sydney, sharing the stage with the likes of Carl Cox and Kerri Chandler. Creating a mix to showcase what he’s all about, Neural’s latest for our Egg LDN Podcast series is one for those in need of a pumping, energetic dose of techno.

Fatima Hajji is a force to be reckoned with. Travelling out of her suitcase since 1998, Hajji is a renowned composer, entrepreneur, label boss and DJ with a fierce dedication to electronic music. Crafting a sound which truly embodies her burning passion of dance music, Hajji sonically merges her Arab roots and Spanish upbringing with everything from analogue-heavy productions to high octane techno releases, regularly shared on her Taikatta and Silver M imprints. Bringing her Silver M family to Egg LDN for the first time on 3rd March, Hajji has provided us with a relentless mix with fat drums, gnarly acid notes and full force slamming techno. A 60 minute journey which undoubtedly reflects the artist’s charisma and serious commitment to the cause.

A strong work ethic, a clear sonic vision and a relentless commitment to work together as a durable team remain the driving forces behind the London based electronic label, Chapter 24 Records. Consisting of fledgling artists KatrinKa, Kieran Apter, Stevie R and VVerses, the imprint prides itself on their ethos of creating ‘music with meaning’, focusing on spinning tales for the dancefloor through deep, hypnotic melodies which are fused to together to create an uplifting narrative for an unequivocal experience. The past few years has seen Bristol based producer Dubspeeka establish himself in the scene after years in the game as member of the electronic music group Kosheen. With an array of releases, on labels such as Last Night On Earth, Crosstown Rebels, Truesoul, Bedrock and on his very own Skeleton imprint, he is now renowned for the levels of pure darkness infused in his music.
