Secondcity smashed his way into dance floor history with ‘I Wanna Feel’, which went on to lift the No 1 spot on the UK Singles chart. Since then, he's followed up with a slew of funky bass-line charged goodies, including ‘Say It’ and this year’s collaborations, ‘Play It’ and ‘Funk’d’, the latter alongside Ibiza’s fast rising star and Egg Ldn favourite Manu Gonzalez. Along the way Secondcity has notched up some incredible sets at festivals like Glastonbury, Creamfields, Snowbombing, Sonar and Hideout. No slouch, he's also rocked Ibiza with sets for ANTS at La Extrema BPM Festival and Ushuaia, Abode and Tribal Sessions at Sankeys, and guest spots at Pacha, Don’t Sleep and Solid Grooves. It was only last year that Spain's Bastian Bux released his debut 'Stay' EP on Coyu's celebrated Suara imprint, but already he's seems like a veteran of the scene. Having since released another two EPs on his countryman's label, as well as contributed a track to its 'Suara Showroom 026', his latest full release just dropped on Nicole Moudaber's Mood Music. Watching his older brother's involvement in the grime scene gave Kyle E a taste for music while still in his teens. It was filling in for a no show DJ, however, while working at Egg London doing sound and lighting that gave him his big break. Impressing behind the turntables straight away, he immediately seized the opportunity with both hands. From touring Brazil alongside Anderson Noise to guesting on Christian Smith's Tronic Radio Show, playing the final ever Trade to becoming A&R for Egg London's forthcoming label, What Came First, Kyle’s impressive techno-leaning tastes resonate hugely with the dance floor. Furthering his position as a Saturday night resident, Kyle's moved into production, releasing 'Illusion' on Familia Records last year. In a sign of his growing stature, this track was picked up and signed to John Digweed’s ‘Live On South Beach’ compilation. With a live show in the works, sets at Sisyphos in Berlin and at ADE this year, 2017 promises to Kyle’s biggest year to date. Read the interview

Setting out on Freude am Tanzen back in 2004, before releasing his debut album via Slam's celebrated Soma label in 2008, Anglo-German Mark Henning has come a long way since his early beginnings – both figuratively and literally. Now living Berlin, after spending most of his life in the UK, his dark, sometimes funk-fuelled, techno leaning sound has also landed him on labels including Poker Flat, Cityfox and Hypercolour, while his Swing Recordings has become the latest showcase for his productions. Brothers from the same mother, German duo Monkey Safari are two German exports that belong firmly on the Angela Merkel's post-Brexit negotiating table. From owners of the Charles Bronson club in Halle, their hometown, they've become two of the freshest DJs on the European scene, sealing this title last year with the launch of their newest label, Hommage. Avoiding the typical cliché of deep house, their sound instead echoes the early '90s roots of German trance and techno, mixing emotive and ethereal hypnotic melodies with a modern edge of driving, percussive drums and full bodied bass. Aquarius Heaven, born Brian Brewster, is an ex reggae dance-hall and hip hop singer. It was pure chance that Brian became involved with the electronic music scene after he moved to Paris in 2005, where he meet the Parisian electronic music trio dOP, and his musical sound was profoundly changed. Yet, we can still hear the colours of the Caribbean in his vocals, unbound by the old rehashed sounds and limitations of the electronic music scene. All of this creates for a very interesting musical ride. Check out this exclusive mix he whipped up for us ahead of his date next month.
